6 pac help

If you want a six-pack, then the best thing to do is to go to the gym and use the machines intended to work your abdomen. Failing that, do a great many varied sorts of crunches. Some people are naturally able to easily maintain a great physique, but those who aren't must work very hard at it. Especially since, if you're a guy, fat naturally tends to accumulate around your stomach. As to your diet, you sound like you're doing okay. You eat breakfast, which is very important. Perhaps you might want to try a complete breakfast. I would also suggest cutting down on the size of your lunch and dinner and eating several small meals during the day, work permitting. This should keep your body revved up a bit higher.Bear in mind that any sensible health and exercise advice is contradicted by at least a dozen bestsellers. You'll probably want to ignore most people's advice. In fact, you might want to ignore mine and go to the library. Get a couple of books on nutrition (NOT dieting) and read them.

ok well, instead of eating 3 meals a day...and trying 6 or like you sayed...breaking it down more...what would i eat...like what snacks would i get or eat throughout the day? also what kind of ab workouts can i do at home? because im too busy to go to the gym plus i wouldnt have a ride anyway

Wait up. Is the problem right now that your stomach muscles aren't defined? Or is the problem that you have a layer of fat covering your abs? These are two very distinct situations and would have to be tackled in different ways.Oh yeah, and abs are highly overrated.

My knowledge appears to be more limited than countplusplus' is, but the exercises you can do at home are numerous. The best ones are crunches. By altering the style in which you do them you can work all your abdominal muscles. For example, Rocky trained to fight a Russian boxer by doing crunches upside down inside of a barn, hanging from a wooden beam.

well im pretty sure its just that i have a layer of fat. because sometimes i can see them...like under a shade or something...and when i pull down the fat i have on my stomach you can definitly see them...its not really a 6 pac more of a 4 pac (which i dont care which one i get or have).-and yea i agree they really are...i just want them mainly to feel better and to please the gf

situps and crunches will get u a 4-pack, but nothing more. To get a full 6, you should try to add this exercise into your routine. http://exercise.about.com/od/abs/ss/abexercises.htmlet me kno if this helps ya.

yea alright ill try that, thanks man.ok this might seem like a dumb question...but whats the difference between a sit up and a crunch?
-
lol, on a crunch you only go about halfway up, but on a sit up you go all the way up. Supposedly cruches are better for your back rathe than sit-ups. But they work the same muscles however.

i know i already asked this, but it hasnt been answered and im still pretty curious...since eating 6 meals a day is more better then just 3...what kind of foods or snacks are you suppose to eat through out the day? and also im trying to gain weight too...not get fat but its just that im about 155 (16yrs old) and everytime i work out...i seem to look skinnier...and yea i dont want that. so what can i eat to get bigger...and still manage to have those pacs? sry for all the questions

Fruit, whole grains, medium amounts of protein. Avoid sugar, and especially alcohol. No fast food, no junk food like chips.
