I was constipated week or two ago..took Laxatives, and it got better..now..I think I am again. I TOTALLY changed my diet. First I ate junk food galore, cokes, sugar drinks, etc. I changed it to Gatorade/Powerade, WATER, and more water. I've eaten some fruit, a salad here and there, and some meat products, and I haven't gone since Friday night. Friday..I had like a HUGE bowel movement..(Yes.. , lol), and haven't gone since late friday night. Would this be considered constipated? Or what..I don't know what to do anymore.. I also take fiber supplements..but I'm at the computer alot, and play video games sometimes, meaning I'm sitting in one spot more than I am up around. I heard this could be it. What exactly is my problem..

Try to eat meals that are both healthy and regular. Include vegetables in your diet as well as fruit (and fruit juice doesn't count).It's not essential to have a bowel movement every day, but most people do, and less often may mean your diet is poor in fibre.

If your diet is reasonable, and your bowel habits are still messed up, you need to see your doctor.If you were poopling every day before, you should continue to poop every day, or there might be something seriously wrong.

IMO, sitting in one place isn't a problem, i'd go on 14 hour gaming binges and not get constipated. Eat a regular healthy diet, talk to a doctor, possibly take laxitives if your doctor recommends them, and go from there

Lack of exercise (especially not walking) contributes to some people's constipation, even if it doesn't have that effect on you.

ok, i thought he said that he's walking sometimes, but also sitting a lot... thats what i used to do, and nothing bad happened to me, so im guessing it's the diet...

Well this is probably old news / late for this topic, but I tried like super fiber cereal / granola bars for breakfast..and I seem to be going regularly now. Fiber was the answer..so thanks for the help guys..
