Hey all, I keep getting a rash when I get hot but the weird thing is when the weather heats up and my body temperature adjusts to heat better it stops. When its cold or not very hot, I only need to drink a cup of tea or walk for 30 seconds and as soon as my body temperature rises I come out in a rash all over my upper body, the rash really hurts when it comes through and once ive cooled down say after 5 minutes its totally gone, you'd never know I had it. If we get a week of hot weather it will still happen for the first couple of days but when my body has adjusted to the heat it stops all together. Anyone know what this is? Is it an allergic reaction to something or prickly heat? If its an allergic reaction how come it only happens when my body gets hot? Ive tried all allergy tablets but it does absolutely nothing. Thanks all Chris
Prickly heat or Allergic Reaction?
If you've tried anti-histamines and they do nothing, that's good evidence it isn't an allergy. Heat doesn't normally cause an allergy, anyway.Prickly heat is caused by sweating when your sweat ducts are blocked, and that seems consistent with what you experience.
