Ok, Im nearly 16 with an uncut penis with a slight overhang.I can pull the foreskin back fine when flaccid, although as the skin of the foreskin overhang pulls back nearer the back of the glans it basically 'rolls' over instead of pulling all the way back.Other than this, i am concerned when my penis is erect the foreskin does not pull back by itself.I can pull it back then, but again the skin on the top of the glans rolls back. Can anyone tell me whether this is due to a short frenulum (as is looks quite short), phimosis or a mix? Thanks alot

I really am not sure, please help

Ok? Obviously no help?Sorry if i sound dumb but im quite worried about thisx

Well, if you can retract when erect, you don't have phimosis.I'm having some trouble visualising what you mean by "rolling back".

well when it pulls back the tighter 'ring' of the foreskin goes behind the head, although the skin from the overhang does not
so im left with a half exposed glans!?
i thought of this as particularly odd
other than that the skin seems quite tight, and once it is behind the head will only move slightly unless pushed back up
there is a fairly distinctive ring of tighter foreskin as it is pulled back and behind the head
again apologies if im just being stupid about this. -
If im reading this correctly, then you believe that you have "extra" skin, not the the first "ring" around your penis... i think thats what you mean.
If so, and it folds over after being retracted, then i believe that you have some extra skin... but IMO nothing to be worried about.

i have a similar problem and heres what I learned form my doctors. the ring wont go away by itself and no matter what they say on this forum stretching doesnt help cayse the loose foreskin next to the ring will always stretch b4 the ring. how tight is the ring? that's the question. mine is tight enough so it getw caught back if im erect and swells up. my doctor has a long name for this conditin but it can be serious. If its serious the three ways to fix it are1 put a slit in the 4skin. 2. patrial circumcision that removes only the ring. 3 circumcision.

Your uncertainty (worry?) about your foreskin at your age is understandable. I'm a bit older than you and I've been through the teenage stage plus I have a lot or reading on the subject and talked to other guys about foreskin behavior. I hope the following information will prove helpful.1. As far as I can tell, what is happening is that the frenar bands around the foreskin opening are too tight to allow the opening to stretch enough for the skin to be pulled all the way back over the glans and "down the shaft," so to speak. The stretched "ring" gets stuck in the sulcus (groove) and the excess foreskin bunches inwards and rolls forward part way over the glans. You need to stretch your foreskin opening daily over a period of months to overcome that problem (if, indeed it is a problem - see my remarks in No.3 below). Do it carefully and gently so that you don't rip the frenulum. Your foreskin will then be fine for "all-the-way-back" masturbation but don't count on the skin staying way back during sexual intercourse. In my experience and from what I have read on many a forum, foreskin coverage of the glans when the penis is erect is a function of foreskin length when the penis is soft. If a guy has a foreskin which normally only just covers the glans or leaves the tip exposed, it is likely his foreskin will be fully retracted on erection and his penis will look as though he has been circumcised. However, if he has some overhang when his penis is flaccid, he can be almost sure that the foreskin will always roll part way forward over the glans or even cover it completely during intercourse. It seems there is nothing you can do about that. For most men this is an advantage in the pleasure department, not a problem, as the foreskin moves backwards and forwards over the glans alternately baring it and then partly covering it with each thrust. 2. If you plan on stretching, I suggest that, until the opening has stretched to where you want it, you masturbate by pulling the foreskin forward keeping the glans covered as much as possible so that it doesn't dry out. Only bare the glans for the stretching "exercises" and for washing.3. If your penis is functioning properly for urination, masturbation is comfortable and satisfying with the foreskin covering the glans and you can retract it for washing, then you don't have a problem. Don't worry about what is supposed to happen or what others tell you is "normal." It's a matter of what satisfies you for now and later. In other words, you may want to leave your penis the way it is. Only medical problems need attention. And there is no hygiene advantage in retracting the foreskin for urination. It's just a preference for some guys; that's all. The majority of uncut guys around the world urinate through their foreskins. Some even find it quite pleasant.4. From your description (and as the moderator has already indicated), you don't seem to have phimosis, a narrowing of the overhang an/or foreskin opening making the skin non-retractable even when the penis is soft.5. The word Willy 7187 was looking for is "paraphimosis." This situation occurs when a very phimosed foreskin is forced back over the glans behind the sulcus (groove). The highly stretched opening then acts like a rubber band and can constrict the blood flow to the glans. It is an emergency situation meaning, if the guy cannot get the foreskin back over the glans himself immediately by compressing the glans with his two thumbs to make it smaller, he needs to go to a hospital ER right away (run, don't walk). This is not your problem either.Whatever you decide, I wish you the best of luck.
