You know the say, The apple doesnt fall to far from the tree? Well, How untrue is that. Do we "inherit" personality traits from our parents or close relatives, even if we rebel against it. Are certain things in our DNA like how we take stress, or how i end up acting like someone in my family i try not to, but it happens. And the more we rebel against it, the more we act like them. Did that make sense?

My eldest son acts a lot like his father, the way he asks, re-acts, even walks, and I kicked his father out when he was 3, he's now 11...........so i do think that we are somewhat like our parents whether we want it or not!

yap, i agree... i guess it's because we r raised by those people who we trying so hard not to be... they r the closest examples we learnt from and we 1st incontered... so we can't run away from being like them... however, i do believe breaking the cycle... if a person determined not to be like close relatives, i do believe it's possible... he/she would need to go through a whole transformation and changes... probably like a cultural change... something that bring up life changing moments....

thats the thing, i wasnt really raised by my mom i was raised by my dad, but i still actl ike her

did she tell u that or someone else ?if she told u that... then in someway u might act like her... but she might just wanted to let u know that u guys r related...if someone else told u that... then i don't think it's something that much important than what ur mom said...either way, i don't really rely on what people say... because most of the time they say something just to manipulate ur feelings...
