i looked for the thread web (i think it was web) posted with poetry but couldn't find it so i guess it's dead...umm it's not really a depressing question burt the poem is. ~families~Are there any that are sane?any families that are true?Do we all think that smiling families are pefect? When she watched them laugh and have fun,No one yelling, no one cring, no one hurting. All smiling. To her surprise she was wrong. She couldn't see behind that tight locked door.Dad yelling, mom cring, son hurting, sister smiling. She thought, that family is just like mine.No family is perfect, most all hid, their doors lock tight to the world. Are there any that are sane?any families that are true?Do we all think that smiling families are pefect? When he watched them laugh and have fun,No one yelling, no one cring, no one hurting. All smiling. He peeked into their hidden life, he saw threw that door, He asked his self, Is there such a thing? Are any all families hidding behind theirtightly closed doors?Dad yelling, mom cring, brother bleeding, sister cring. Are any families real?Any families true?If some one were to look intoyour door, would your family be fucked up too?ok, now the question, say your at the mall or on a vacashion you you see this family, they look really happy. Do you walk on by and think nothing of them? Do oyu think They are the perfect family? Do oyu think, I wonder if their life is so 'happy' as they make it out to be?
i think all families are screwy.
like all poeple are too.
it's normal i guess.
there is no such thing as a perfect, problem free family.
i'm sure of it.
To tell you the truth I never really thought about it when I saw a family together in public.Every family gets into conflicts. It's almost inevitable considering human nature and how long the people live with each other. Though, there are happy families out there. My family is nowhere near perfect, but when we all get together now that we are all older it's almost perfect.
Happy families do exist, but they are not happy because everything is good all the time. Families that pretend everything is good all the time are living a lie, and are desperately unhappy. Happy families are those that respect each other, and respect each other's unhappinesses.I think they are a minority.
