you have bad acne because you're in the thick of puberty. Acne for you is probably caused by two main reasons. 1) Bacteria thriving on sebum, that is produced in your pores and hair follicles, and 2) from your testosterone levels rising. As your levels increase i.e. puberty, your face starts to have reactions to it. Hence, acne. If should go away once you near the end of puberty or as it progresses, if it doesn't then I would definately consult a physician. Or you can get tetracycline, I think that's the name, that shuts off or reduces the amount of sebum produced, and bacteria can not thrive as well, and the acne discipates.

Proactiv

Tetracycline is an antibiotic, useful for treating acne, but you're thinking of Accutane, which is the stuff that reduces sebum production.

OH YEAH hehe oops...forgot all cyclines i think are anti-biotics. I knew a girl who took it my fault, Ineligible is correct

I use Mary Kay Velocity Facial Cleanser, except I use it for small breakouts... nothing heavy-duty. It's about $18 for a 4 fl. oz. bottle. Find a Mary Kay lady in your area (your mom probably knows someone) and she will order a bottle for you.ps- PLEASE stop writing whole posts in CAPS LOCK! It makes me feel like I am being shouted at, which makes me feel sad, and also deaf.
-
yea i noticed that to. i always have tons of the two left.
-
lol when you said Mary Kay i thought you said Mary Kate and i was about to say "why would you trust a cleaner when she can't stay sober?!"
-
you have to be consistent with it, or it doesn't work. just make sure you follow the instructions on the bottles and you'll be fine. but when you stop, your acne returns. mine came back worse than before i used it.
-
it works amazing but personaly i cant keep up with it it takes atleast 15 minutes usualy more and im used to being ready in 5 so i dont use it often as i should. but if i use it for one day my skin will be better the next yet once i stop it goes downhill amediatly
-
My friend had some bad acne and he used it, it took a few months but his face really cleared up
-
I used it..it work's great. but I've had the problems most people have had. it's sort of expensive, if yo stop using it, your acne comes back. I reccently switched to Clearsil Ultra. They have a face wash, and then a cream/lotion. If you use either one of them..your skin will start clearing up really quick. and then once it's gone, just switch to a normal face wash..or just the clearsil ultra face wash. but I've found that works better than proactiv
-
wow so much success im surprised. When i used proactiv all it did was make my face burn and bleech all my face clothes/pillow casings and the like. there was no change in my acne it all. I had better success with this subscription stuff called Medrol. all it does is dry your skin out and it seems to get the job done
-
ok well, ive been using proactiv constantly for 3 weeks now. And it didnt do SHIT for me. It was a complete was of money.
-
Sorry to hear that. My acne reacted the same to Proactiv.. never changed. If you have a dermatologist I'd go to him/her and find other methods of helping to cure your acne.
