oh, and for what it's worth.. because of this fear of what it is for years i've decided to specialize in dermatology if possible after med school.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.. Let me explain..When I was around the age of 9-11 I noticed small little bumps on my scrotum. They are skin-colored and about 2-3mm in diameter. They do not itch and are not reddish at all. They do not ooze or crust over or anything similar. When I was younger (9-11) I grabbed some of my fathers medical books (his a doctor) and came to the conclusion I had herpes based on a white and black photo showing a shaft of a penis and tiny little dots in clusters. Ever since then I thought I had herpes.I finally worked up the nerve to tell my grandpa when I was spending time with him and my grandparents over the summer. He looked at it and said it wasn't anything serious and put some kind of cream on it. I pretended it went away. It didn't.BTW I was of course a virgin.I soon forgot about the bumps. Eventually I remembered the bumps and now they have fully covered my scrotum and have extended themselves upwards towards the base of my penis and the lower side. (the side laying down on the scrotum)During this whole duration they are still tiny, skin colored, and are "migrating" up my penis and once my scrotum. When I was 16 I lost my virginity. My girlfriend of 7 years got regular check ups with her doctor in accordance to her moms wishes and never once noticed my bumps and never once said the doctors noticed any stds during her swab when she was 18.Now after breaking up with her after 9 years I've met the love of my life in college. As a college pre-med student about to apply to medical school and ask this girl for her hand I find it my responsibility to get this resolved before I ask her for her hand.I'm sorry this is long. I wanted to tell you my story. Now in my 20-ish the "dots" are maybe.. 100 percent all over my scrotum and 1/4 covering the base of my penis and around the shaft. You can't notice them unless you look; however, I've noticed after further examination that tiny tiny little dots are extending up the shaft showing signs of maturation. So it's taken years to get to this point.I'm embarrassed to go to the doctor. I'm willing to post pics showing skin but not the full genital. So let me restate this:Small skin-colored "dots"2mm-3mm in diameterabout 5mm to 8mm away from each otherso in otherwords they are not in clusters or "patches"no whiteheads, no red irritation it's taken years to go from my scrotum to the shaft of my penisbut at this pace i'd suspect full coverage in 10-15 years...from research i dont believe its herpes but i could be wrong.the irony in this is i had these since i was little way before sexual contact.i've deduced it down to the idea that my parents never had and dont currently have any stds.any help?? any ideas??if you need pictures im willing to post
