She may be allergic to latex, or the spermicide in it may burn. Don't be sarcastic, average joe.

Yes, I have heard of herpes showing as slit like sores, and the telltale signs are itching and burning. Go get it checked.

Notice any tingling? People can hav herpes without all the classic symptoms. Some don't even know it at all.You can get bumps on your vagina and it does necessarily mean its herpes, but if it tingles, itches, burns, and is painful you should get it checked out. I know it is hard, but don't try to diagnose yourself...........Good Luck!

Maggie, that was SO well put.People do treat others w/ herpes like they are lepors!I once knew a girl who was a topless dancer, and she had HSV2. They FIRED her because of it...........I think something like that should be illegal.

The swimsuit may have done this, women can get rashes and yeast infections sitting around in a bathing suit. Could be contact dermatitis, also.My advice is to you as it would be to anyone:If you have unprotected sex, get checked out. Why worry yourself into a tizzy............the brain can appear syptomatic the more you worry about things like this.

Genital warts (HPV) are so common it's Like 70%.They can lay dormant, so you could have had them, not your wife so don't be so quick to accuse.HPV is very biased bacause it affects women worse, it can cause cervical cancer. Men seem to build an immunity against it, it is like they don't have it at all. Women most likely will have outpatient surgery to fix this, and that seems to keep them in check.

Herpes take anywhere from 6 days to 6 weeks, from what I have read. You would also notice the pain and itching. It doesn't sound like it to me, but get checked anyway, better safe than sorry. Alot of people transmit herpes withoout even knowing it, and if more males would have regular checkups like most females do, it seems that diseases would not be spread around as much. Just my opinion.
