my problem lies in the fact that i have excessive underarm perspiration. does anyone know how to lessen underarm sweat? or decrease the amount you perspire in general? also, does certain dri really work? thanks.also, perhaps there is something in my diet that increases sweat? I drink a lot of coffee, could caffeine have something to do with it? just a hypothesis based on nothing haha.

I guess I can rephase my question as: to be able to max out at a greater weight, should I bench more weight with less reps (IE 200 pounds five times for 3 sets) or less weight with more reps (IE 10 reps at 165 for 3 sets). I know bench isn't everything, but it's the one area I'd like to improve the most. Thanks for the advice.

thanks for all the replies, i appreciate it. yea, it hurts on the inside of my arm with the pain seeming to originate from the inside of the elbow joint. my other bicep is actually sore as well in a simliar fashion, but i am able to extent it fully with out difficulty. i'm hoping i just overworked my biceps and they're just worn out, i'll just stay off arm exercies for a while. thanks for the advice

i'm 18, about 5'11", 165...right now i can bench about 230. i'd like to be able to bench around 280 or up. any tips on the most effective techniques/routines/reps at different weights/ect.. that would help me achieve my goal? i realize working other muscles with other exercises can help but i'm an amatuer when it comes to weightlifting so i don't know what those would be. i also realize it will take a lot of hard work regardless. thanks for the advice.

alright so i was doing some curls wednesday and i didn't feel like i injured anything but now my right bicep hurts really bad when i flex it or extend my arm. in fact im having difficulty extending my arm so it's completely straight. it doesn't hurt unless im trying to do one of those two things, if im not flexing or extending it it doesn't hurt but i certainly can't lift weights right now. so i guess my question is, did i just overexert my muscles (i hadn't done curls in a long time) and it's just really sore, or is it something more serious?
