Hawker23 i think you misunderstood my statement. I meant that as he has been through it, if there are people on here who have a circ booked in and have to have it done then its always comforting to hear from people who have had it done and found it is not that bad :). I full agree that people should try stretching etc, however if that doesnt work then they will start asking who has had it done and what does it feel like...which is what i meant he can now help people with.

Hey mate, Your case of phimosis sounds alot like mine, i couldn't pull back at all wen flaccid, could barely see the head of the penis, and wen erect i could pull back at all really. I was 17 also when i found out. I done daily stretches, used creams and even bought the "glansie" tool to help me, however after several months i had literally no improvement. It was very demoralizing. I would recomend you go to your local GP tho, i did on many occasions, because its there job to be there and to help you through medical problems like this, and they have the doctor and patient confidentiality so they wont tell anyone. There is no real reason to tell your parents about it, i did purely because i wanted to get it sorted ASAP and wanted to go private. I told my mum and she was very supportive mate. Id recomend you go see your GP mate first step towards getting a proper diagnose and view your options

Hey mate, glad the circumcision went well. I had mine done late august, im 18, and yours differed a bit to mine. Obviously u had local anathestic for a start where as i had general. I was looking and even booked an appointment with the place you went to in London, but then my local NHS surgeon said he could do it the the following week (which was a week before my appointment in London). The few experiences you had with blood etc over first few days i also experienced, and they stopped within the week tho. Baths are the best thing i found for it, also im sure the Doc told you to add some Salt in the ball aswell. I would agree with you on the fact alot of people make out that circumcision is a horrible operation which has many horror stories, which im sure a few people do encounter problems, but yours (and mine) went fine and hopefully by posting mate you can help others through it :).

I think most doctors reccomend u wait around 6weeks until sex mate so that may explain the bruising on ur dick. So u had urs prity much same time as me, awsome. Im fully healed now, a bit of the head at the back is stil a lil purpley colored..but it doesnt hurt at all. Im not sure about errections tho...my pain from them went away afta around a week and a half. Ne other people heal that quickly or was i just lucky?lol. And yea dude in time all shall heal

well mate if it wasnt for circumcision i would still have my phimosis problem ,along with many many others. can i ask wen i say ur "done" do u mean ur circed? i had it a few weeks ago, im 18btw and i must admit at first i was a bit worried and well honestly i didnt want it, but now actualy im happy with it and it looks better than it did when i had foreskin, obviously thats my personal opinion tho. Also mate i believe jesus was circumcised (Luke 2:21), and as many believe he was the creator (aka God - this is a debate amongst christians tho) perhaps he did want us all to have it done. However again i think circumcision should be left to personal opinion, or like me if you require it for mediacal reasons. Rather a strong veiw to outlaw something that can both help one medically, and also has been part of traditions of thousands of years.

willy7187 i didnt have the same actualy affect but i was warned by my GP and surgeon that what u said could happen. As the main like reason for using that beta 0.05% cream is to thin the skin, if it gets to skinny it may tear which could be terrible. The surgoen who done the circumcision in my consulation he told me he would have only perscribed it for a month and if there was no significant improvement would stopped prescription, as this would be enough time for me personly to recognise any improvment. I was also told that the chances are now at my age (18) the cream wouldnt really work well because the foreskin has already thinkend out, however this probably is varies on people because some people on here in the late 40's etc iv read have been succesfull with it. I supose it also depends on to what degree ur problem is aswell.June mate keep up work tho, seems it works for you which is good
