Hey guys, im new here. I recently started to try and retract my foreskin again. I began stretching... read stuff off of this forum. I am 15. I had a choice to get circumsized but i think ill try stretching. I have extra foreskin.. i can get about half way flaccid and just see my head erect. I notice when im pulling my foreskin down on flaccid, there is a piece of skin attacted to the right on my penis head. Its from my head to my foreskin. I think thats the problem why i cant retract. Anyways is that my frenelum (sp?)? Also just wanted to say that this is a great forum and i have learned a lot Thanks

Foreskin Retraction

The fernulum is on the bottom of the head. To the side that wiould be an adhesion. Did you look at teh pictures in the Male Anatomy thread?
-
The frenulum is a bit of skin that goes from the underside of the head, just below the peehole, to the foreskin. Sometimes the foreskin can stick somewhere else, which is called an adhesion and can be fixed with very minor surgery.
-
no other way to get it off except for surgery>
-
It's very minor - cut with local anaesthetic in the doctor's office. If it's the frenulum, though, it's meant to be there.
-
that sucks.. should i still try and stretch my foreskin or get that part cut?
-
If you have an adhesion, you can first try working the area, stretching it in different directions. Apply some baby oil to the adhesion. With some time it should separate.
-
ok ill try that
-
Just don't force it. You don't want it to tear.
-
any kind of baby oil works? Do i just apply it to the adhesion and leave it? or try to stretch it?
-
You want to leave it so that it can soak in really good. Apply it overnight and in teh morning.
-
some reason i think its my frenelum. It doesn't look like its under the head thought. Its on the back though.

after stretching for a while.. i can get the foreskin half way down flaccid and a quarter while erect. When im stretching my foreskin i can stretch it pretty wide, dont know why it cant go down past my head while flaccid.

a couple thingswhen we are born our foreskins are firmy attached to the heads of our penises. As we grow up this attachment gradually comes apart. for some it is fully detached by 10 or so while for others things can stay at least partly glued together until mid to late teen years. In part it depends on how much activity happens down there during masturbation, sexual and even just washing. So, assuming you are talking about your foreskin still being attached to the head of your penis along the top and/or sides then you are still in the process of the normal adhesion coming loose.second thought - you may simply have a tight foreskin; many guys do. there are names for it but simply put the foreskin is just too tight to pull all the way back over the head. there are many options. but at 15 I would not get too worked up about it all. Time, regular sexual activity, masturbation and some stretching should produce results. And if they don't quite do the trick, well, when you get a little older then you can consult a doctor to get some cream by prescription that can help too. Regardless whether it is adhesions or tightness or a combination of both, just relax and enjoy. Keep it clean, masturbate regularly and gently work on stretching and loosening.

Are you saying that when a very young infant is circumcised, the part that is not cut is adhered to the glans, and is torn off?
-
I think torn is an overstatemnet, but yes, it is forcibly separated.
-
no my foreskin seems to be loose. That skin on the back is my frenelum. I can just about pull my foreskin over while flaccid. I guess its because this is the first time ive tried it in a while.
