hot water bottles are good, or a wheatie (like a cloth bag with wheat in it you put in the microwave n it's nice n warm) more painkillers, exercise can help. try and do stuff to distract you. or just lie and cry. I used to get it really bad, now im on the pill and it hurts less, but still bad.

Try taking meds made specifically for cramps. Maybe a mix of Advil and Midol. But NEVER mix Midol and Tylenol :O

For long-term relief try to exercise more and stay active during your period. Also, take an ibprofen (sp?) the day before you think you'll get your period. If you have cramps NOW, take a Midol before your cramps start to get bad. Drink a warm drink, I usually have hot chocolate. Heating pads are great, so are massage pillows (my mom bought me one from costco, it's a little microbead pillow that vibrates). Warm baths definitely help. Find your period food and keep it handy (usually chocolate).Oh, I've also heard an orgasm helps relieve cramps. I dunno if the orgasm just distracts you or if there's some complicated thing, but it does seem to help.

The oral contraceptive can do wonders for period pain.

Really they do? Great, I'm about to go on them (end of this month) and that was what I was hoping would happen.

Doctors release something called NaproxenFrom what I hear it's a crapping relief pill for girlsbe careful though as it is 500Mg and the side effect of OD will take a massive toll on your body.you'll only allowed 1-2 a day i think..
