Have you tried Benadryl? And I hear you about getting stung. I got stung by a bee last summer and ended up having to go to the hospital because the swelling got so bad my foot started turning purple (would have gone earlier but had to attend my Uncles funeral). I was given prednisone to get the swelling to go away.

i havent tried it no. i may be allergic to that too.. ugh i hate it i had to go to the hospital the first time i got stung to get hooked up to this mask thing to help my breatching, then i had a needle

Well it's worth calling your doctor or pharmacist and find out if you are allergic to Benadryl. It does the trick for most people. I know you said you are allergic to most liquid meds but Benadryl also comes in pill form.Yuppers I got a shot when at the hospital as well, think it was just a standard tetanus shot because it was years since I had one.

im also allergic to liquid medicine too You're allergic to all liquid medicines? That doesn't make sense. What is it that you are allergic?
-
how doesnt it make sense? lol, im allergic to liquid medicine like benelyn, (sp) dimetepp, buckleys etc. i break out. however there is one kind of dimetapp i used to be able to take, because it had no color or flavor. dimetapp clear i believe, but i cant find it anymore.

It doesn't make sense, becasue there is a certain substance in it that makes you allergic, not the fact that it is liquid or all medicines in general. I'm sure it has to do with a certain food coloring in it, especially since you said you could take the Dimetap Clear.

I know how you feel. when I get bit by flies specifically mosquitos it doesn't have the same affect as it normally does with people. the area that was bitten becomes extremely soft and tender like a bruised fruit (you love my descriptions don't you) and it turns from red to purple all the time. but it doesn't swell up on the outside only on the inside. I don't know why, I just figure I'm allergic to it. What I usually do is rub alcohol on it. You should try that too. Hopefuly it will help. Rubbing alcohol, the isophyll one.. however you spell it.

ok then. well i cant take liquid meds cuz of the color/taste/something else in it. either way im allergic.

Have you ever tried Benedryll(sp?) dye free? Many people are allergic to the dyes they use in most medications, and you could be one of them.
