My friend who recently had a baby asked the doctor to perform a c-section on her because she has HPV. I was wondering since there are new studies that suggest 70-80% of people can clear the virus if they have a strong immune system, do they still have to go through a c-section if they're considering having kids. I found out yesterday that I have HPV and would like to have children some day but, if I clear myself off HPV will I be able to give a normal labor.
Can HPV infected peopl give normal birth
My wife broke out with HPV warts at the onset of pregnancy. She was treated during the pregnancy and delivered vaginally. The doctor said that as long as she didn't have "active" warts at the time of delivery , there shouldn't be a problem.
It's hardly ever a problem that causes one to have to have a section. It usually clears on its own.
