I was having sex with my girlfriend tonight and the condom broke. Neither of us realized until after I came. However...it was a Trojan condom with spermicide, I pulled out when I came, and we went to get the Plan B (morning after) pill right away just in case and she took the first of the two right away.Am I worrying over nothing?

Should I be nervous?

The morning-after pill shoulkd take care of it. That's what it's for.

I kinda figured that, but it's always good to have reassurance from others. Thank you for the reply.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone have any experience with Plan B/The Morning After Pill?
-
I don't personally but I know many people who have if you want to ask me about symptoms or anything. The best of luck to you two!

Sorry I haven't responded, but I haven't been near a computer in days. I would love to know anything I can from anyone who has experience with Plan B.The box says that a period may be delayed a week, but if it doesn't come after a week late then to go to a doctor. So far my girlfriend is 4 days past her "expected" period date and I'm getting very nervous.Like I said, we used condoms with spermicide on them, so between that and Plan B I would think everything would be okay. I'm still very nervous though about pre-cum doing something if some came out while I was inside her. I did pull out when I came.Any more feedback or input would be greatly appreciated to calm this nervous individual. Thanks so much.

I hope you're right. She hasn't had her period today, which makes 5 days. We're both starting to get pretty scared despite the one week statement.

I know you're worried but you have to understand that being scared out of your mind isn't going to help. The best thing to do is to wait. Emergency contraceptives are a huge amount of hormones pumped into your girlfriend's body and can do crazy things to it. And with stess added to the mix, she's going through a lot. If it's more than a week, take a test or take her to a doctor.

I know it does me no good to keep posting and worrying, but today is day 6.I really do appreciate the support that you all have given me, but it's still a challenge not to get anxious about it. I tend to worry a lot, and in this situation I have absolutely no control over anything. I mean...it's not like she does, but at least she can tell all the time if she feels like it may be coming. I just have to wait for phone calls. If any other people have any experience or stories about Plan B I would truly appreciate it. Thanks again to those who have responded.

Well for anyone who may come across this and have the same concerns as me, I'll let you know that the one week delay that is stated on the box is pretty accurate. My girlfriend had her period today (thankfully!) and it was about 9 days after her expected date. Stress may have had something to do with it too, but the bottom line is that Plan B worked and I can relax again. Thanks again to those who posted here. I really appreciate it.

I'm glad of that!

Good deal!
