Basically i was wondering how do i find out my blood type, because my mom can't remember. She says its the common one. But i was curious so i figured i'd ask
-
I think this is were it should go?
-
You can pay to have the test done, or you can give blood and they'll test it as part of the process.
-
When I gave blood in high school, they notified me of my blood type. Or I may have found out before. I can't remember. Sorry!
-
If you've ever been to the hospital, I'm sure they have a record of it in their files.
-
Giving blood is the easiest way to find out. They will tell you what type you have. They also screen you for blood transferable diseases.
-
The OP is 16. I think you have to be 18 to donate blood, but I'm not sure.
-
Here you have to be 16, and weigh 120lbs. The bloodmobile comes to the high schools about 2x per year. Though, I am not sure if parent permission is required.Edit: Just hit the American Red Cross site. It says 17 and 110 lbs.How long until your 17?

I just looked it up. It's 17 here in San Diego and paernt permission requireed if still in high school.
