I hear that you should exercise about 30 minutes a day. However what do they consider exercise? Do they suggest that a 30 minute walk is sufficient? What if you were to run a mile, how would that stack up against a 30 minute walk?

I'm confident it means 30 minutes of taxing work. That makes you breathe harder and your heart pump. Walking doesn't do that. Running, jumping jacks, push ups, do.
