Hi all,I've searched high and low (not just here...the whole of the interwebs!)I'm a 22 year old male, with a phimotic ring about 10mm inside the opening of my foreskin. How far back i can pull it seems dependent on...something...i want to say temperature, but i've no idea!...anyway, it varies between having a 15mm or so opening to going about 1/2 way down the head. But thats it, never any further back.My question is wether or not partial circumcision can be used to treat this, or would it just move the problem a bit further down (with the creation of scar tissue - essentially what phimosis is)I don't want to lose my foreskin, and stretching really hasnt worked at all (tried a glansie too, which works for about 15 minutes then it shrinks back)Advice would be muchly appreciated!Cheers,D

Partial Circ for Phimosis?

Go see your GP mate and get him to write you a perscription at the chemist for Betamethazone 5%, ointment or cream. That seems to be the most sure fire aid to stretching the tip. From what I've read, whilst it will do some of the work with an application, the best results come with its use with manual stretching too.Greetz,Christiaan - NL

Welcome to A2A. Very good question right out of the gate.
The advice that Christiaan gave you, I have heard, has good results so you might give it a try. I would only opt for circumcision as a last result. I'm sure they could only do a partial but it would be something you would need to stress to your GP. Make sure your guidelines are understood.. Once it's gone, It's very hard to stretch it back and it's never the way it was...
It's very common for this to happen with uncircumcised men. make the appointment

Hi,thanks for your replies.I probably should've mentioned before, but i've tried steroid creams before with no effect whatsoever.
