Hi all, I know there's a few threads on this topic, and I have done some Googling - but still I am unsure of exactly what I am dealing with (minus medical diagnosis, of course!) - so apologies for starting a new thread. I hope you bear with me.On the right side of my penis, just under the head, I have a very hard vein wrapping half-way around my shaft. I can pinch it, and it feels almost solid, like a vein of wire. It does not hurt or cause discomfort, but it looks... uneven. It appeared a week or so after some (protected) intercourse. I've read many threads saying it'll go away, or to rest the penis, or it may be something called a Lymphocele(?)Finding images online is difficult than I thought! If anyone could share some light on this, I would very much appreciate it, and your time.Quint.

Horizontal hard vein, just under head of penis.

Probaby an injury and inflammation of the vein.. I couldn't give you any terms though.. But I would imagine it would return to normal after some rest.

Thank you for the reply, Sdp.
I'm wondering if ice, or heat would help aid the recovery. I've read some conflicting reports. Any ideas to help?

Not really, I'm sorry. I would imagine refraining from masturbation is the only solution.
