I have posted before about my fear of having contracting herpes from a person diagnosed with herpes after an incident involving a broken condom... (He wasn't having an outbreak, btw) I know there is a chance of contracting it even though we stopped as soon as the condom broke and he wasn't having an outbreak and it was just the one encounter...
Anyway, that was close to a year ago and I never had an outbreak or symptomsm of herpes... and have had std tests done twice, but they can't test for herpes because I haven't had anything for them to swab. I have thought sebaceous glands were herpes before just from paranoia and had them looked at. Well, now I have a new "bump" that doesn't look like a sebaceous gland. However, it "appeared" a couple days after shaving. It's sore when I wipe or touch it. I hope it isn't herpes! I have a doctor appointment tomorrow, but right now I feel horrible waiting and not knowing. What are some thoughts or opinions about this??? I would really appreciate anything anyone can contribute.
