I think you're missing the part of circumcision and you're just viewing it as a mutilation. Circumcision...is healthy. It has benefits but disadvantages just like an uncircumcised. Girls usually don't go for a guy just because he's circumcised...and not having a skin means less care about hygiene, and about stretching. Maybe other reasons but it does make the dick a lot easier to take care of. The downhill is that less pleasure. Not a whole lot but well actually I think about it the only bad thing is that the head is left exposed to being rubbed too much in the boxers. Anyways. All I'm saying is that..circumcision is not that bad, I think its quite healthy. Its like..removing your spleen. It takes up space and provides practically no use. However unlike circumcision...the foreskin is still helpful I don't know how because I don't have one....

Which do girls prefer?

I think you need to do some simple researching on tonsils...you have your information mixed up.
-
OMG I don't have any tonsils......AARRGGHHHHH!

I have to back up maclarenf1 on this one. He is correct. However, they are helpful but not critical to have.Tonsils and adenoids are near the entrance to the breathing passages where they can catch incoming germs, which cause infections. They "sample" bacteria and viruses and can become infected themselves. Scientists believe they work as part of the body's immune system by filtering germs that attempt to invade the body, and that they help to develop antibodies to germs. This happens primarily during the first few years of life, becoming less important as we get older. Children who must have their tonsils and adenoids removed suffer no loss in their resistance.http://www.entnet.org/healthinfo/throat/tonsils.cfm

I know this is an older thread... but I want to add my 2 cents!I've had sex with 2 uncircumsized men, and quite a few circumsized ones as well... I have to say that the 2 uncircumsized ones were better in bed than any of the others... BY FAR!!!... and I'm American So I'm going to have to say I prefer uncircumsized

it was the people that were better in bed not their foreskins

tonsils are for losers...I was circumcised at 14 years old because i wanted to "fit in." I regret it to this day. I am now attempting to restore the foreskin through non surgecial proceedures. WHAAATTTTT??? yep restoring the foreskin, not a lot of people have heard of it, but it's possible. Why am I doing this? because i miss my foreskin. it was foolish of me to get cut and to be honest i feel like less of a man without it. as far as what women prefer? Anyone who wouldn't date/sleep with someone because they are cut or uncut is not worth that guys time and effort.

From my experience in the northeast US and Ohio, girls definite prefer cut. That's what they know. They also think foreskins are dirty and smell bad. BUT most girls (80%) if they really like you don't care what kind of penis you have. Even if they personally have apreference the whole guy is more important to them. For casual sex its different. It's pretty hard of get oral sex from a date when you're uncut. You get the idea when they go down there and after they see, it's all of a sudden, "how about a hand job?" I never said no but they often didn't know what to do with a foreskin, that way either. But that's another thread..

Liamcny:
If you really believe all that, how could you mutilate your penis to please the 20% of females who don't care about the "whole guy"?
Slicing off part of ones penis seems a terrible price to pay to obtain the approval of ignorant, shallow girls. It's frightening, that's what it is, frightening and sad.
