""as far as being fruitful, are you aware of the growing overpopulation problem? or just ignorant to it? wow. that is stagering as to how someone can follow something so blindly and ignore the basic problems we have on this earth here and now.""i dont know how to do the little "in reply to" thing so i will jstu copy paste, isnt technology bueatiful. Ok well Late just for your information you are by far the uninformed one in this argument for the whole population of the earth could live pleasently in the state of Texas, it is certain areas, the most obvious being cities that are overpopulated.

That's a very good start. There are l-o-t-s of philosophers who have important things to say about morality, from St. Augustine to Voltaire. Spinoza to John Stuart Mill and all the utilitarians. Then there's the scriptures, which say "Do this. Don't do that." without making a cogent case...it's because God says so. But many people find them useful. In any case, there's a great possibility the original poster will be a father before he finishes all those books. Telling kids "Just don't have sex" is a loser's game. It's not working for the Promise Keepers. In most European countries, sex education is given in the public schools, sometimes in fairly early grades, and the rates of pregnancy and STDs are lower in those countries than in the U.S.The case has been made that people who are young are ready for sex. Also that people who are young are ready for marriage. Both are debatable, since childhood is now soooo long. 15-year-olds used to have children and work in the fields all day. Their childhood was long over. Now 18-year-olds are playing with their Nintendos and hanging out in the mall. I don't think most American adolescents are anywhere ready for marriage. An education, and the prospect for a good job, would be a better bet for them and whatever family they might have.If everyone starts getting married at 15, you can kiss the economy goodbye. We might as well go back to agriculture, and let the Chinese run the show. So, in summary, in an ideal world, it would be good if the original poster would cool it sexually for now, and eliminate the risk of having unwanted intercourse. But that's probably not going to happen, so it would be a very good idea if he had condoms nearby, just in case. And hopefully he'll practice putting one on before getting into the heat of passion. It can be a fumbly experience the first time, if you're not used to it.

I'm not sure what you're saying (There is a population problem? There isn't a polpulation problem? China can move to Houston?)But if you're saying there is no population problem, that's not a good reason for the original poster to risk becoming a father.
