Ok, My girlfriend has been complaining of pain after she urinates. She will go to do it and she is fine, but as its slowing down and/or stopping, it will cause a sharp pain down there, sometimes a pain that she cannot take. ME and her have regular sex and use condoms. what could be the cause of this? Thank you.

Pain Urinating?
-
She could have a urinary tract infection possibly. She needs to see a doctor.

From what i understand now, its something worse.
She has been having pains somewhere inside, and these are really really sharp pains. We were laying in my truck, her ontop of me, and everytime one of those pains came on, she would grab me tightly.
She was fainting for a while, but that was ruled out. She was starving herself, a quick way to lose weight, but as soon as she started eating regularly again, the dizzyness and fainting went away. Recently, she has been getting these pains, along with her urinary pain. The sharp pains that are somewhere inside her Vagina seem to be causing some soreness or more pain right underneath her belly button, on the inside. She is due to start her period soon, and i keep thinking those sharp pains are due to that, although she has never had these pains before.
Im sorry for the vagueness in these explanations, I just dont know how to explain it. She is going to the doctor on Tuesday, but i was wondering if someone could give me some insight. She is not showing one or any of the symptoms of pregnancy, and me and her have regular sex with condoms. Please help. Thank you.

Anybody know what could be wrong? An answer or any help would be nice! Please?! Thanks...

I looked up the UTI information, and alot of it shows what my girlfriend is going through. Do you all still think its this? It can be treated right?
-
The best way to tell is to see a doctor.
-
Yep. Easy treatment, but it must be handled by a doctor. If that's what it is, she'll need antibiotics. A short course of pills and it's gone.
-
She is due to see the doctor tomorrow. I will tell her to mention the research about it, and she could possibly have UTI. Thanks alot guys, i dont know where id be without you!
-
One more question...the UTI can keep the normal Period from starting right? she has the symptoms as if she is about to start, but she hasnt. Its the problems with the UTI interfering with it right?
-
Probably not related. Two different parts of the body.
-
Ive heard that stress and pain are two things that could delay the normal period cycle. IS that true and could it be related to this?
-
True and yes. Stress can cause a delay and this would certainly count as stress.Didn't you say that she was going to the doc? Did she find out anything?
-
She found out it was a UTI, and shes not pregnant. For sure. Shes taking the pills to get rid of it now.

UTI. Urinary Tract Infection. Your g/f should go see a doctor.
