Hi,I have these Tiny White bumps all over my scrotum, and at the base of my penis, i have had these for years, i am now 17, and i have had them from atleast age 14, i read on another website that these maybe something called Sebaceous prominence, i saw a pic of what this looks like, and it look the same, and it was said that it's quite common, so what i want to know is, how long are they there fore, as it doesnt look very good when i pull out my horrid lumpy penis on my gf =/ is there anyway i can encourage them to go away faster??i also would like to know if this is unusual, when not erect my penis doesnt have a full foreskin, from pics i have seen, the fore skin is meant to cover the entire head of the penis, but mine ony goes 1/2 way up the head, if that, is this unusual??thanx,Ryan

Tiny Bumps on my penis

Hi Oriax and welcome. Those tiny white bumps are sebaceous glands. They produce sebum, which is a white oily gunk that is a natural moisturiser; and they get bigger at puberty. You have them all over your skin, usually (but not always) at the base of hairs, but usually you can't see them because they are buried in the lower layers of the skin. On genitalia the skin is thinner and they are therefore often visible. They are normal, and you've got them more or less for life, though they will shrink and become less noticeable gradually as you age. There's nothing you can really do to make them go away faster. If your gf says anything, which is unlikely, you can tell her all that. The foreskin usually covers the head of the penis when flaccid, but some guys have a shorter foreskin that leaves it partly uncovered, like yours. It's a normal variation.
