In reply to: You're gay at the age of 13? I see. This generation. Well, that's somewhat of an ignorant thing to say. I always knew I was gay. Not exactly something most people wake up one morning and decide to be.
I always sleep in the nude. Usually on a sleep over I have my own room. A few weeks ago I was at a friend's cottage. I was already in bed, nude about to go to sleep. Another friend asked if he could join because of a bed shortage. He found out I was nude but wasn't bothered by it. He stripped down and jumped in. Nothing happened. Only thing was we both woke up with hardons!
I know I was already corrected on this. Thanks

How incredibly cruel of you java_addict. You have to remember that we men are simple creatures and these fantasies are one of the things that make life bearable

I think people are definitely born with a sexual preference towards a particular gender although nobody has published conclusive proof of this yet. The first announcement of a gay gene was in 1993 but since then it's been found that this gene is not present in all men who regard themselves as gay and it is present in many men who claim to be heterosexual so there's some dissent there as to whether or not it's anything to do with sexuality.
However, in 2004, 2 separate groups independantly reported that they may have found evidence that homosexuality runs in families, indicating a possible genetic basis. What they found was that a woman with a brother or sister who is gay, appears to be fractionally more likely to give birth to a child who is gay and that the likelihood of having a gay child increases with the number of children that woman has. For example, one of the gay men in one of the studies has 9 siblings (I can't remember how many of each gender) one of whom is also gay. His mother's brother and sister are also both gay as was his mother's uncle.
Of course, none of that conclusively proves the hypothesis because as always with these things, the sample size is just far too small but it is strong supporting evidence and if there really is a genetic basis for homosexuality, which I consider to be very likely, we'll probably know about it sometime over the next 20 years or so. In the USA alone, there are currently at least 4 groups researching this specific subject.
Wow that is very interesting. Thank you for posting that
