I saw this health video here [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p45NK4OFzVw] about coffee enemas and it's really interesting.
I can imagine that this is good and that you can remove all kinds of stuff which builds up in the colon. But
I also wonder is this really safe? I am sure if I asked my intern about home enemas he'd tell me not to try it.
And why coffee?
I also wonder is it really true that stuff builds up in the colon? Like parasites? I read a lot about colon parasites. I wonder if
this is really such a common threat.
I also wonder instead of doing an enema to cleanse the colon why not simply drink the stuff you get before a coloscopy?
This also makes it all totally clean otherwise they couldn't examine the colon. Wouldn't this be easier than an enema?
What sucks is that most doctors aren't much of a help when it comes to "alternative" health treatments. They usually don't know
anything about it and then simply say not to do it. Fasting for example would also interest me but at the same time I'd be afraid
of health risks. For example I heard when you fast long and then start eating too fast then your blood electrolytes can get totally
out of balance and you can die. That's really frightening.
Without a doctor telling me how to fast and for how long I'd be too afraid to just try it on my own. :(
