I'm 15 and I have a tight frenulum. Does this mean I'll need surgery or can it be corrected by stretching or something? When flacid, the frenulum pulls (or springs back) the foreskin forward and it bunches under the head when I pull far back and let go. When erect, I can just barely pull the foreskin back behind the head and it stays there but feels very tight. The glans is (or are?) also really sensitive and hurts to touch.Advice? Thanks,-rifter.

Tight Frenulum.

thats very tight, and much tighter than normal. i would sudguest talking to your doctor about it. there are procedures that can fix that. normally circumcision, but if you like the way you are (uncut) there is a partial circumcision method that will get rid of the frenulum and leave the skin still covering the head. you may want to look into that

im not really 100% sure what you mean, but i dont think your Frenulum sounds tight.Im uncut, and its normal to just be able to pull past the head when errect. It all depends on such things like foreskin length. Thats probably why you have the bulge of foreskin, because you have a longer foreskin...

Don't listen to Trax. He doesn't know what he is talking about.
The frenulum is supposed to pull the forskin back over the head when flacid and having it bunched behind the head is quite normal. The frenulum can also be stretched. You can stretch it out when flacid by using your fingers to pull on it. When erect, retract and pull back so that it is tight and hold it there as long as possible. If you look at the Male Anatomy thread above, you can see a picture of the foreskin retracted and one of the frenulum.
