How do you get it exactly? And is it possible to get it if 2 virgins have intercourse? They've never talked bout it in school or anywhere else so, i need 2 ask

AIDS question

Like i know if some1 has the disease they can pass it on, but is it possible for 2 virgins who never had any intercourse generate the disease? and how?
-
AIDS is usually transferred either through blood or through sex. The greatest danger is blood-to-blood contact - for example when drug users share needles, especially when they use their blood for rinsing the syringe. In sex, it transfers most easily in anal sex, or other sex where there are STD sores. If both partners are virgins, and have not done things like share needles (or had blood transfusions in the days before blood was screened for HIV), the risk is negligible. It's not possible to generate the disease - it's a virus and it has to come from somewhere.

Ah thank you so much... cause I dont plan on having intercourse till i get married, and hopefully my wife will also be a virgin. So there is no chance of us getting any diseases?
-
If you and ur wife are both virgins, have not shared needles, haven't received blood transfusions before the mid 1980's, and didn't get anything from your parents, you are safe. Diseases dont just spontaneously generate.

This may sound kinda dumb but seriously though... If some one goes down on a girl can they catch HIV like that? I mean from her...secretions... If you know what I mean...? I've always wondered that. The subject doesn't really apply to me as such admittedly but i'm curious. When I was about ten I asked my Mum that question (not in so many words however...) she pretended not to hear I think.....

No one replied.... :frowning:

I think they could, if the goer-down had an open sore in his/her mouth. Stomach acid, however, deactivates the AIDS virus pretty effectively, so the oral route is an uncommon way of getting AIDS.

Ah. Okay, thankyou.
