Hey. I'm procrastinating right now. Should be in bed or studying. But my eldest brother has been doing some dangerous things and he's changed alot. He doesn't talk to anyone anymore and fights with my dad alot. He's been getting in trouble alot lately and he gets home pretty late. When we pass in the hallway and I say hi he just says hi and keeps walking. I don't know what happened. But I wrote him a poem/letter. Since that's how I always communicated with him that way when we weren't speaking, and he liked it. So tell me what you think, thanks. To my brother, Why is it that every time I look around me, you’re not there? Was it not you who said you “cared”?Sorry, I must have been mistaken. You’re always right anyway.I just want you to be with me at least for one full day. You’re always telling me to do well in school, not to hang around with the wrong crowd. And yes I have listened. But where are you? Who are these guys you travel with now?Have you changed so much that you can’t even speak to me?Have you changed from your previous ways? You’re my oldest brother and I’ve always looked up to you.But now you’re never around; you don’t even pray.Endless hours I’ve stayed awake at night just hoping that you are all right. And when you do finally come home, you and dad, you just bicker and fight. What is wrong? Why won’t you tell me? I’m your little sister. Doesn't that matter anymore? You’re supposed to be my best friend. Isn’t that what God gave you to me for?Ok, ok, so I’m still young. And you’re probably saying, “what’s her problem it’s not the end of the world”… like always. But it is, for me. To see my brother, my own flesh and blood, sink so low. Disobeying never pays.I know you want to be on your own, and I respect that. I always have. But I’m asking you now. Please stick around. Your attitude is scary, and it makes me sad. Sad to know that the one whom I’ve had such a close relationship with has now shunned me out.But I will always be here for you. No matter what happens. Because that’s what family is all about. from, your youngest sis

Chances of your bro actually changing because of that letter.. 0%But I guess it'll be a ncie read for him

Just talk to him....best way to get through. at least that way he will think about it and have a face to put to the words.
-
Sweetie the letter is a good start. It lets him know that you care for him. You're a good sister.

I've tried to talk to him multiple times but he's always just walking away. If I say can I talk to you for a minute he goes "I'm busy". Doing what? I don't know. I don't ask. And thanks Eddie.
