D'oh! Rich people on the dole. We need to have them over for dinner...as the main course. i just found this lol, by coincidencelink-http://www.picturesofwalls.com/

[You replyin' to me?]I thought Eat the Rich (1987) was a hilarious (British) movie...but the IMDB folks only gave it a 5.5 out of 10.Other pretty funny cannibalism films were Eating Raoul and the French film Delicatessen. And then there was the Monty Python sketch where a boatful of Britsh sailors stranded at sea were debating who they were going to eat...a classic.I'm not sure why, but people-eating-people movies are funny.

I spoke to two English guys, both of whom were Oxford educated, and somewhere between socialist and very socialist, and they had no problem with the idea of having a royal family. One said, "if that's what the people want, then it's OK by me." The other guy defended them more vigorously (and his parents aren't even British; one is Daninsh, the other, American). I asked him if he thought the entitlement thing (base on birth) was fair, and he said it was like that for the U.S.'s priveleged class. Rather than moving on to the "two wrongs don't make a right" argument, I just shrugged my shoulders, and said that the French had the right idea.

Ever seen "The Last Supper" ?
I think it was out around the late 90's.
This group of friends get together once a week or so and invite soeone to dinner. They interview them and based on the replys they get about tolerence and over all copasion towards fellow man, they either give them wine or poison.
Burry them in the back yard and grow tomatos on them.
I thought it was funny as hell. Not eating people but this post still reminded me of that movie.
I love Monty Python!
I own all the series on dvd and all the omvies.
My g/f hates them, far as I can tell thats the only thing wrong with her so Im not gonna dump her for just that. Wait, she hates alot of my favorite music too, Tom Waits, Nick Cave and the bad seeds, the old blues, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Kenny Wayn Shepard. Shit maybe I need to rethink this thing with her? -
**well maybe them being oxford educated (not sure why you put that in but never mind) meant that they had a little more money than us 'normal' folk, or maybe that they were slightly upperclass...........I know that what camilla is spending on bloody dresses, and the cost in general of the tour would pay for wards on the NHS to be re-opened, or funded to keep them from closing, made a difference to some charity etc etc................. **
-
So, would you still want royalty as long as you didn't have to fund it?How do you view royalty in general, is it a unifying time honored tradition or is it a means to help keep the class system, openly, inforced, or what?
-
**According to a report, the Royal family cost us, the people, 36.7 million pounds a year...............i can't see how they can justify spending that amount of money, when people yards away are sleeping rough, and starving. I know that the royal family does bring in revenue from tourism etc...........but do we need them, and more to the point should we have them.......a symbol of wealth, and all things gold and shiny while people die cos NHS wards are closing because of lack of funding.......personally i don't think so.
Tradition, is ok in its context, but i fail to see why things are done, in a certain way, if they arn't working, JUST, because thats how its always been done........as for the class thing, it means nothing to me, i take everyone for who they are, not what they have, or havn't got, as i said in another post, respect HAS to be earned for me, not freely given. **

well maybe them being oxford educated (not sure why you put that in but never mind)Sorry, I had a brain short-cirucuit. They were Cambridge-educated engineers. I assumed that an educated person would know better, but the particular university is irrelevant. It was included for rhetorical effect.> meant that they had a little more money than us 'normal' folk, or maybe that they were slightly upperclass...........Nope, they were ordinary blokes like us. (One of them liked to expose himself to the guys at work...he was a hoot!)> I know that what camilla is spending on bloody dresses, and the cost in general of the tour would pay for wards on the NHS to be re-opened, or funded to keep them from closing, made a difference to some charity etc etc.................The royals are rather full of themselves, and for no good reason.
-
they were ordinary blokes like us. A-HEM................blokes like us............points at self girlie thing
-
lol that's an american trying to use a british terminology for you angel:P

Oh yeah, they're still alive. I mean, they are regular citizens, and not in any way regal, in the hereditary sense. One of them snowboards and is now traveling around the world (kind of roughing it), and the other is into Tai Chi and accupuncture. The latter was visiting a predominantly gay (Provincetown, MA) area with his 14-year-old daughter, and she was jealous that he was getting more attention from the guys than she was. (Irrelevant fact: his wife is a college English professor, but ironically, she's American).

Holy shit! A man AND a woman have entered the US, let's have a fucking party
-
You shouldn't care, PC is not a looker like his sons, and his wife's a bitch (so much so the queen wouldn't attend the wedding!).
-
the queen didn't attend the wedding cos of the fact that they had been having an affair while both still married to other people..........
-
Did the Queen like Bill Clinton?
-
**well she didn't mention it, but to be honest, i havnt' spoken to her in a while *note to self, text queen* ** :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

He's admitted to cheating on his wife. His lack of control almost brought down the executive branch of the U.S. government. In France, his virile moxie would have been celebrated.France dispatched their royals the same year that the U.S. Constitution was ratified.
