So far my experience with guys has been like this: the guys in my classes and that i call "friends" don't act like normal friends around me. They sit there and take my pencils off my desk, or pull on my hair, or trip me. I know that when some guys like a girl, they do this. However, I'm starting to think that guys don't know how to approach me or talk to me. I've been told that I'm not an easy person to know , but what can I do to break the ice between my male friends? I want to feel closer to them than just picking on one another.

Really confused

Throw a party...go do something as a group...

If your hard to know prehaps you should loosen up if your a bit uptight. Also, it seems that there havin as much a problem as you if they can't 'work it'.

I've seen a lot of guys do this. I personally haven't resorted to behavior like that, so I'm not sure what they mean by it. I've always been the guy to pick up your books if you drop them in the hall, or let a girl borrow pencils or paper. But, nice guys finish last I suppose. If you talk with them one on one, you'll either1) become closer2) scare them away3) give them an idea that you two can hook up, unless you say otherwise

yeah shame hive em brake, they're just boys.they're trying in their own way.now you gotta try in your own way.what kinda of changes would you like to make to your interactions?maybe you can direct things in that path.shape them towards the mold you desire.but as i said they're jus boys so dont expect a hell of a lot from them .my brothers gf, 17.was saying the same thing today.

Yea, I like being playful sometimes, when the jokes are funny! I would know how to react better if a guy just started a conversation with me rather than steal my pencil. Stealing my pencil with just aggravate me if anything, so how do i react to that. "gee, shucks, you got my pencil. what should i do now?"

Or, if I steal your pencil and you ask me to have it back, I can say something funny or witty.Took my cap and gound pictures today. Girls dressed and undressed me. After they were done, I was like, you all owe me a dollar. When they asked why, I told them because they were taking my clothes off.
