I went to the Gym on Monday, and did a pretty standard shoulders/tricep routine. When I woke up on Tuesday, my wrist was really sore, almost as if bruised on the inside of it, and it hurt to apply pressure in certain directions. I don't remember bumping it, or hurting so I was a bit miffed at why it was hurting. Also, when I workout sometimes the edge of palm hurts, the muscle(s) running from the base of my pinky to my wrist. I thought I might be gripping the weights too hard, but I concentrated on not holding it more than required and it still hurt. Is this normal, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Well either what helms said or you may be lifting wrong. You may be bending your wrists to much or in awkward directions while lifting. Posture is important, sit up straight when u need to sit up, when u lay down pull the small of your back in, and keep ur wrists straight when benching. as far as ur palms, u may be resting yo much weight on that specific area, try holding it more centered to balance the weight, if not try wearing gloves
