I'm not done growing yet, but I'm about 5'08 125-130lbs. Not in terrible shape, but I have a pretty good hunk of belly fat on the lower half of my abs, not much on top really. I'd actually like to gain weight, wherever, but burn off this stomach fat. Whats the key to this? Is running every day 20-25 minutes(2-2.5mi) unhealthy or should I only do that a few times a week? What else can I do, I was thinking eat more, but less fatty foods too, but what about high carb food then, if I'm trying to just burn this fat but actually keep my weight the same or gain some?

Fat Loss but keep weight?
-
You're male, you're 5'8", you weigh 125-130 lbs., and you have extra fat on your body??? That is very hard to imagine. I'd think you'd be a beanpole. There's no way to suck fat out of a specific part of your body. Exercise and get into shape, and see what happens. In any case, it won't hurt to get your abdominal muscles into shape...as well as all the others.

He said 5'08, not 5'8. Unless it was a typo.
-
What exactly is the difference?
-
the fact that he put the zero and you didnt of course
-
Bleh, I use the metric system. I'm 180cm tall. I assumed 5'08 was like 5 foot .8 inches or something.
-
That's also what I assumed. If he were 508 centimeters, he would indeed be thin at 130 pounds.
-
If he were 508 cm he would tower over all of us...
-
D'oh! Mental decimal point in the wrong place. At 50.8 cm, he'd be as tall as a foot stool.
-
I'm 68 inches, 5 Feet and 8 inches.

kmrobins> 5'08, 5'8, 5'08", 5'8", 5 feet 8 inches, all mean exactly the same thing.Shib, I seriously doubt that you want to lose any more weight. If I were you, I would bulk up a bit by exercising, and try to gain weight. You can't just lose weight in a specific spot...you need to tone up the muscles all around, and add some bulk (weight). I just can't imagine how someone of your height and weight can have "a good hunk of belly fat". It may be a genetic thing that you have some fat there, but it would be very odd if there were more than a little. If you exercise, you'll want to eat more, or add a supplement like whey protein if you exercise more seriously, to help you add muscle.

I want to gain weight, but burn body fat- not lose weight, I know I don't weigh a lot. Isn't this possible? Also is running everyday healthy anyways, or should I only do it maybe 4 times a week?

Excersise. Do some running, sport or whatever to burn the fat off and build muscle to put the weight on.
