In reply to: Why are you who are anti-circ so hostile? No kidding. Every day I hear the same shit in the football locker room. Cut guys even walk up to my girlfriend and ask her how she likes my foreskin... my uncut dick... like I'm some sort of abomination. I don't really like to argue it since the whole point is rather vapid, but they really insist on proving some degree of superiority over a decision their parents made for them.

Slate mag: over 2/3 of guys who got cut prefer it
-
FUCK EM!!I dont ffeel superior because my parents had my dick tip sliced when I was born, but I sure as hell dont feel inferior either.fI get along fine with out it and I would let the idiots get to you simply because you didnt get cut.people honestly need to mind thier own fucking business, everyones lives would be better if everyone did that one simple thing and only worried about themselves and thier own actions

i also "prefer" to be circumcised as having phimosis was a nightmare i hated it and having a nice looking fresh cock with less chance of diseases , better masturbation , better sex i'm happy and "prefer" it than i did when had foreskin although may have been differant if i didnt have phimosis

fresh cock????? That's a new description....o_Oless chance of diseases????? what????? your not serious about that are you?? That's an absolute crock. Whoever told you that should be shot.

I'll back him up on that to an extent. I do believe that it thas been shown that the intact have a higher risk of getting infected with HPV or HIV, for example. I believe the reason that may be so is becasue the circumcised have no skin moving around during sex. The intact, on the other hand, have the forskin moving about and being stressed and stretched. The stress and stretching can cause micro tears in the sensitive skin, opening a door for viruses to enter. By no means does it (or I) say that if you are cut, that you are not at risk, but the risk is lower. How much? I have no idea.

I was circumcised myself, right after birth.Im fine with it, I just dont like a MAN coming on here with NO PROOF what so ever, of what he is saying, and speaking for WOMEN of the world, and his only proof is AN AMERICAN SITCOM WRITTEN BY A JEWISH COMEDIAN.If your going to make statements you have to back them up, if your going to argue, you must be able to support your position and have ways to substanciate your POV to try to convert anyone to your side. He has none of that, Im calling bullshit on it.

they thought sex was better when circumcised than uncutThat article had no relationship to science, and the writer says so at the beginning.People who think they're unattractive because they're uncircumcised, people who have a religious motivation, and people who have a physical issue (such as phimosis) of course will be happy with the surgery. To do a proper study, they'd need to survey random men, circumcise half of them, make the circumcised ones forget that they ever had a foreskin, then re-survey both groups some time later. The article you cite is worth looking at if you're considering a circumcision (since you may fall into one of the groups above), but it's definitely not scientific. It's sad that people feel compelled to get the surgery just because they don't feel accepted because of the way they look. It reminds me of Asians who get surgery on their eyes to look more Western. This was an interesting passage:In reply to:Only four men who wrote in said they got circumcised for religious reasons. Two were pleased with the results, and two were ambivalent. One of them, Eric, said that when he lost his inner foreskin, he lost some sensation. (According to the article in Urologia, "many studies have shown the presence of thousands of erogenous nerve endings on the inner layer of the foreskin.") The upside was that sex lasted longer. "Sex became less exciting but more satisfying," he wrote. Other men reported a similar trade-off. ("Is it better to have a glass of excellent wine, or a bottle of very good wine?" mused one.)If you're a premature ejaculator, it may be helpful...or not.

Well of course they're going to say that.
