Ok today when i took a dump i knew i was expecting blood because when the poo came out it was kind of hard. It was bright red blood but not a whole lot came out but it was enough to cover a whole tissues worth. I had this problem before last summer (i think it was because of a low fiber diet) and when that happened last summer I used neosporin on my anus and from that day on I ate a lot of fiber! So I have it again and i know its not super bad, but im wondering since i have bloody poo on certain occasions should i check out a doctor? I think I just need more fiber in my system and i have just reapplied the neosporin and things should be fine again. Any suggestions?

A little bloody =/

It's probably a haemorrhoid. More fibre will certainly help.

More fiber is good, as long as you also drink plenty of water. Try drinking at least six glasses of water a day, and more if you're active.

I agree with both of you...
I would use not Neosporin either. I would use a product like Preparation "H"
The product is designed for Hemorrhoid relief and treatment. -
I totally agree with that. Neosporin (an antibiotic) probably won't do any good at all, and might cause some problems. The vaseline that Neosporin contains may give some relief by reducing friction down there, but the antibiotic part is unnecessary.
