there's a medical condition where the smegma glands are overactive. I think its called seborrheia or somthing. you would need to see a doctor to know for sure. if you are washing every day and still getting so much build up somethings not right.

Smegma won't go away

I am going to give dove soap a try... however when I am unable to shower for more than 3 days... what can I do to keep it clean and prevent it from all of that built up smegma...

Has it always been like this, or have you noticed a change in the smegma amount? Does it smell fishy? Sometimes fungal infections under the foreskin can cause excessive smegma production, and will have a strong fishy odor to it. It is normal to have noticeable smegma form daily, and it is also normal for the smegma to have an odor to it, although if it is cleaned daily, it shouldn't be an offensive odor. If you only recently noticed a sudden increase in smegma production, and it has a strong fishy smell, I would suspect a fungal infection. Otherwise, it is probably just your normal level of smegma production, and I wouldn't be concerned about it as long as you wash under the foreskin daily, which it sounds like you already are.

You don't have to shower to wash your dick. Wash it in the sink or with a bottle of water in a field. It doesn't matter. It's not that hard.

it hasn't always been like this; I started noticing it about a year ago when I would jerk off and it would start flaking off a bit. Its not fishy smelling unless i am at the field for a few days without showering but by that time when i clean it down underneath the foreskin feels raw and at times it may itch.

If it's not fishy then there's a good chance that it's a yeast infection. Does it smell at all bread-like?
-
whats there to do about a possible yeast infection? I thought it was and I put some antifungal powder daily for about a month and some jockitch cream 'tinactin' is there a better kind anyone suggests... I mean it can't hurt to put cream on it even if its not a yeast infection. And if it is and it goes away then theres nothing to lose and everything to gain, no?

Get a yeast infection ointment or creme at the pharmacy. One designed for women's yeast infection would be fine..yeast doesn't care about your gender.

i have the same thing if i dont shower my smegma builds up but when i have a shower on the daily it doesnt smell bad at all i dont have any pain down there or anywhere but it slowly goes away I MEAN SLOWLY goes away like it would take me a whole week to get rid of 95% of it. its really annoying and i cant tell what builds up my smegma it just comes back for no reason sometimes and i dont have yeast infection either soooo. i cant tell if its poor hygiene or what DOES ANYONE KNOW ANY LIKE ointment to get rid of it or like creams to get rid of the dry skin

@raven1243 Welcome to A2A!
I think this is going to need trial and error. You could try a little vegetable oil, or 'cold cream' (not real cream), or stuff sold as make-up remover, or moisturiser. The smegma is probably sticking because of a high fat content, and it needs something that can interact with that. Don't be afraid to re-purpose something to a different use or gender. :)
I should also point out that yeast/fungal infections don't always smell (though they often do), so the only way to be sure you don't have one is to try an anti-fungal cream and see if it makes a difference. Any cream sold for athlete's foot/tinea would be fine.
