Is smoking cause you have pimple?
-
most likely its a coincidence.p.s. smokeing is dumb
-
no i doubt smoking is causing your pimples, it is causeing the slow death of your body though, good luck with that
-
why smoking is dumb?? that's my choice to smoke and i think its good.. if you like hamburgers and i hate it i think it's stupid.. so you're dumb when eat hamburgers?? that's not right girl.. keep comment to urself if you dont like other people stuff
-
Don't get all huffy puffy now, its her opinion. She doesn't have to keep her comment to herself. My opinion of smoking is that its dumb too. You slowly kill yourself, you can get cancers. And you waste soo much money on it.
-
She doesn't have to give her opinion here, now does she?If he likes to smoke, let it be. I think it goes under 'Freedom of Expression'. You're not going to sit here and watch him smoke now?
-
i have no problem with peopel who smoke, i just think smoking is dumb, just liek i hav no problem with peopel who do drugs, i just think its stupid, same wiht bungie jumping, besides, if we feel the need to share an opinion, so be it

In reply to:why smoking is dumb?? that's my choice to smoke and i think its good.. if you like hamburgers and i hate it i think it's stupid.. So we're comparing indulging in a strong source of carcinogens and chemicals that damage your lung tissue for "being cool" to personal preferences of food now? I also think that smoking is an awful habit and it has nothing but negative side effects. Just about everyone I know who's older than me and smokes wishes that they'd never started. Some don't regret starting at all, and one of those people who I knew died of lung cancer. How can you tell me that's not dumb? There are no benefits to smoking in the long term. It doesn't relax you unless you're already addicted to it, in which case it's only relaxing because the rest of the time you're tense because you have no nicotine in your system (and the other addictive components of course). There's my opinion. How old are you by the way?
-
She never said you were dumb, she said smoking was dumb. It's a fair comment to make.As for your question, the answer is probably no, but those toxins could be contributing somehow.
-
Maybe if you smoke to much..."Smoking is Good for you"
-
okay people. back to the topic

Those 20 points are all incredibly flawed, including the potentially beneficial effects of very high quantities of nicotine, of which the quantities far exceed what you'd get from smoking. That same chemical also causes withdrawal symptoms and stress if you stop taking it after starting. The idea that smokers aren't a tax burden but are beneficial to tax collection is true where private health care exists, but far from true in countries like Canada, Norway, and Sweden where health care is provided by the government. Those chemicals in cigarettes that exist in fruits and vegetables, such as arsenic, are in massively different proportions between their vegetable sources, like broccoli, and cigarettes.Would you like me to counter more of those? Oh, and it's completely right about excessive drinking likely being even more hazardous to your health, but I'm not advocating drinking. Too much of it is also a bad habit, although a very small amount of alcohol actually has some benefical effects for blood pressure, and a particular chemical in red wine has health benefits although I've forgotten what it is in particular.
-
Now on topic, I suppose it's possible. Smoking does cause contraction of blood vessels and reduce blood flow to the skin which could potentially have adverse effects. I have my doubts it affects acne at all, although it does cause eventual damage to your skin as it receives less blood supply, thus causing wrinkling at a faster rate.

Fortunatly, we have free health care, so people don't have to die merciless like in America. Unfortunatly, people take advantage of it!
Apperntly, Smoking was better in the Colonial times, since there wasn't as much chemicals in it as today, and less adctive.
Always the thought of second hand smoking, which is worse, scares me!
It's 'People's Choice'

I smoke around 25 cigarettes a day and have done for fifteen years, if I'm out for the night I'll smoke upwards of 40. I estimate I must have smoked about 175000 cigarettes in my life, so I think I'm qualified to say it is a stupid pointless money wasting health risk. Why am I still smoking? Because I am a nicotine addict who hasnt broken free yet. I am also a recovering cocaine addict, and I can tell you, cocaine is easier to kick than nicotine. As for tabacco related skin problems, I dont know anything about that, sorry. I've never suffered from skin problems and as for premature wrinkling of the skin, that hasnt applied to me either, I'm regularly taken for years younger than I am. But as for what's going on inside my body, I dont even want to think about it. If you're in the early stages of your smoking 'habit' I'd advise you to get out while you still can.

i doubt it.. smoking doesnt cause pimples. ive been smoking for 4 years before, and now im free of nicotine for about a month already but pimples a still threre. it is on one's hormone that produces oil. oil gets caught at a pore's opening, and when it hits the air, it oxidizes and turns dark, forming a blackhead. When oil can't escape a plugged-up pore, a small white cyst, known as a whitehead, may form. Either a blackhead or a whitehead can become infected, producing the inflammation and redness of an acne pimple. External oils on your skin—greasy cleansers, hair products or cosmetics, or even oils you encounter at work—may cause pimples. Stress plays a part, too. Some researchers say that chemicals released by the skin during stress can worsen inflammation.

ummm I'm studying cosmatology so i could ask my teacher and get back to you tomorrow with a definite answer, my teacher is a licensed estitition. you don't seem to be getting much input aside from lots of off topic scolding. although you sound a bit young to be smoking.

Hello there,Please read Bob's post above your own. It's come to my understanding you're a new member as well.

I'm sorry, but I think this is interesting, and since the original post was never actually, defintely answered, I think it should be fine for her to reply saying that she'll get a more concrete answer later. This isn't really a specific post with a problem that could only apply to one person... There are a ton of smokers out there who might want to know.
