There have been many threads on this subject. Go to the Search box at the left and type in shaving, and you'll find a lot of information.

Well, here are some tips that can help cut down the irritation:First, always shave with a sharp, new razor. This cuts down on the drag effect so you don't have to go over the area so many times (this is the main cause of irritation and razor burn).Second, use shave gel instead of shave cream because the cream tends to contain ingredients that can dry out the skin.Third, keep it consistent. The more consistent you are with shaving, the less irritation and bumps you will have. I shave once a week. Some shave once a day. I don't recommend that because you aren't giving the hair follicles time to recuperate. Wait until the hair becomes visible. There's nothing wrong with stubble. At first, the stubble will bother you because the area isn't used to being shaved. Over time, with consistency, the irritation will become less.Fourth, there are 2 products you can try. One is in department/retail stores. It's called Bikini Zone. It's okay if you use it frequently. There's another product called Tend Skin. I swear by it. It's sold online and it's a great investment. Hope this helps. If you have any questions about shaving, feel free to PM me.

Definitely a good post there ClassyWoman. Yeah, basically you're not used to it. It is natural for it to itch like that. Just don't be obsessive or anything about it. Shave regularly, every 3rd day or something, or every week. Then you'll get used to it -Anon Dude

Hey Surfergirl. I had the same problem. Are you using a razor by chance? I found when I started using a electric razor, my icheness and bumps went away. If you like a link to a good tutorial and explaination site, go to http://www.link removed.com and scroll down to the index and click the tips links. I hope this helps HI nikkigirl, please don't pimp your website here. Thank you.

Well, it's in your signature and you've sent me that link in a PM. Yeah, you're pimping that site and it's not allowed here.
