Hello all. Lately I've been getting really annoyed with my panic attacks. Example: I was watching an intense action movie with my parents earlier and I had to get up and leave the room because I started breathing heavy for a long time and couldn't stop and my heart was racing. These things that trigger it happen all the time. Movies (home or theatre) loud places, etc. My breathing heavy is the scariest thing and I can't find any sites online that explain how to handle heavy breathing. Would anyone here be of any help?

I used to experience panic attacks as well.The way in which I dealt with the fast & heavy breathing was just counteracting it with slow, deep breathing & relaxing my mind. It took a lot of mental energy but eventually I was able to stop my panic attacks.But, if this doesn't work for you, there are medications that can help, so ask a doctor.

Mind me being a bug; but has your anxiety disorder has been properly diagnosed by a medical/mental health professional?
