I got this problem where everytime I talk I gotta clear my throat (literally, everytime). The back of my throat gets, I guess slimey, or clogged kinda. I do have allergies so that may be a cause, and I have a issue where I cant really smell with my nose (been that way for years). Anyways, I was wondering what causes these things and if maybe theres a way to stop or prevent them.

I sometimes have to clear my throat as well. Though sometimes clearing my throat by clearing it of bad crap (mucus and whatnot) by spitting it out, and that makes it feel better.

I wonder if you have a long-term sinus infection? They can cause mucus in the back of your throat. You should discuss it with your doctor. The inability to smell is suggestive.

yeah, i've had a big sinus problem with allergies, and I get sore throats that are probably caused from nose leakage into my throat. Would that affect my voice in any way, because I feel like when I talk its really nasally

I think it might have an effect, though it's hard to judge your own voice.
Sinus problems can be tricky, but they are treatable.

should I go to a normal doctor, or a throat nose and ear place?

I used to get that. I went to my GP and he prescribed me a strong spray for my nose - it helps a lot!

GP?

GP = General Practitioner = ordinary doctor, as opposed to a specialist.

Thanks for that
