--->You can't be serious. Bush is torturing and killing thousands of people, privatizing our military and costing us trillions of dollars. The only president that comes CLOSE is LBJ, and AT LEAST he got us civil rights, What has Bush done that hasn't ended in the American people being screwed over? He has COMPLETELY violated out 4th amendment rights by basically throwing them out the window. I'm sorry but, you act like all of this is new. Ole Honest abe suspended the write of habeas corpus. Pretty much installed military control over a large portion of the country and paraded about as a damn near dictator. Ironic how they don't teach you that in kindegarden. Ironic how he violated the same 4th amendment and then some. Yet, we shrug it off and praise him anyway.Washington was really nothing more then a social climber and lost quite a number of battles but, we don't seem to remember that now do we?Presidents threwout history have done bad shit. Its nothing new. What about nixon and the whole expanding into cambodia? What about the veitnam war in general. I can argue that america was sticking its nose where it didn't belong. Mai lai anyone?->I don't give a fuck if he had anything to do with how hurricane katrina was handled, but did he have ANYTHING to do with Making the people who were responsible pay for what they did? No. What did he do about 9/11 that has to do with Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan? HE ATTACKS THE WRONG COUNTRY. WTF IS THAT! It's like they said "Bush, Point to the country on a map that we should attack for this" And he happened to pick Iraq. This is the man the said America would be easier if it was a dictatorship, so long as he was the dictator, and you are one of the LAST people standing up for that sack of monkey shit. sack of money making shit? last time I checked that was all politicans. And I am not standing up for him. I am trying to point out that all politicans amount to money making sacks of shit. I am not defending him by any means. I am pointing out that he is just one of many. As I said. He is a symptom not the problem. As to attacking the wrong question I'm not even going to comment on that. And I will be flat out honest I can't defend it.-->And as for the Democrats, at least Obama WANTS to do something, and actually TRIES. Hillary and the others don't do shit, but Obama is pushing for changed, and TRYING to change everything. The sad truth is, is that YOU voted for Bush, and POLITICIANS are PEOPLE too, A politician is a person who got put in that job, and has to be happy for being full of shit. The problem with bush, is he actually is Shit and not just full of it, and if you don't realize what he has done to this once free world, they are as blind as a red neck turkey on thanks giving. I can't comment on obama. I haven't really paid much attention to him. I kinda realized at some point that all politicans are at the core the same. They will say whatever it takes to get the office. Thats that.oh also. I should point out that I'm not nessicerly "defending bush" At least not in the sense of saying he is innocent. I am saying that he is your average politican.Oh also I didn't vote for bush. I only just turned 19 recently. I couldn't have voted for him.

Bush is Sad and Lonely
-
I know Lincol was a racist ass, that still doesn't change the fact that Bush is the biggest sack of monkey shit to ever get elected. He is the Worst. Bar None, there is no saything that he is equal to any other sack of monkey shit, what he has done is beyond comprehension of the others. And I said Monkey shit. Not money making. That's Cheney's Job.
-
My apologizes for misreading. However, I still stand behind what I have said before about Bush being a symptom and not the problem.I can't defend him because honestly I quit paying attention to all the shit going on. As fucked up as it sounds I decided to just quit paying attention to all the shit. Is bush a new extreme? according to you and others here. Yeah. I can acknowledge the man has done horrible shit. However, your a long way from convincing me that all the worlds problems reside in bush. Hell your a long way from convincing me bush is even a problem and not a symptom. Cause once bush is gone the next sack of shits going to step up. Simple as that. I also believe the issue of "bar none" is pretty debateable. Worst to run america? maybe. but, lets face it there is nothing new under the sun.
-
I think Bush is too stupid to be the problem I won't give that moron the credit for being any kind of brain.
-
Now if we only had a way to fix politics up. Maybe I should run for president xD.
-
Nny- I think there's one problem with your view. There is much truth in what you say about politicians today. To me they're all corporate stooges who can't be trusted. BUT I would make one point. Even if they are all terrible, there is still a difference in what one president might do that another might not. It has been debated for decades as to what would have happened in Vietnam had Lyndon Johnson not been president. Likewise, I think it reasonable to assume that someone other than Bush would not have started a war of aggression against Iraq. I'm just saying that it can make a damned big difference who is in the white house at a given time. For my part, I've come to see the American public as a huge part of this problem as much as media and political pandering. The damn fools elect these people. They elected Nixon; they elected Reagan; they elected Bush. And then, damn fools they are, they're surprised at the results, which to some of us are entirely predictable from day one.
-
Hm. The subject of who is in the house at any given time is one we can debate until our lives are null and void. With that said the rest of the post is pretty much spot on with my sentiments. Granted I think its safe to say that its not just americans which are damned fools. It is the folly of our race as a whole. As to the predictability. In reality all we have to do is look at history. People in general haven't learned from it so they are doomed to repeat it while the rest of us sit back and watch them repeat it.
-
I think your "symptom instead of the problem" statement is way more true than most people want to admit.Problem is, there is a butt-load of people (And I'm not just picking on my friend Java here) who will hate Bush at any cost. For any reason, good bad real or make believe. That's just where we are. It's wrong that they do that. But it's also wrong that he hasn't done a helluva lot in the past couple years to prove them wrong. It's also wrong that people are so short-sighted that they can't see that the mess in the middle-east is pretty much a logical end result of Carter's idiotic foreign policies. Talk about a stupid dip-wadd!
-
Actually, I was one of the people in the begining who thought "Well, he's our president, maybe we should support him" And I was incredibly in different until he attacked the wrong country.
-
I think my main point of disagreement with you is that I don't think he attacked the wrong country. I think his problem is that he's a wimp and that he (despite his rhetoric) allowed elected politicians to micro-manage the war in Iraq to the point where what should have been a quick and easy ordeal has lasted way to long. But I too am extremely disillusioned with the man. I just don't happen to think he's an evil criminal like you do. I reserve that title for a couple of other politicos.
-
I just realized the title of this thread has been changed.
I don't like that.
It's confusing and gives one person way too much power.
I think someone needs to be impeached! -
Anyone who replies can change the subject line. The title of the whole thread doesn't change.
-
Oh no, I think he's an idiotic, wimp who has no clue on how to run a country and should never have even been elected. This is a man who was drunk until he was fourty, borrowed a bunch of money from his dad's friends, and tried to find oil in texas, in which he couldn't. I don't think he's evil, I think he's a complete moron, I don't give him enough credit to be evil. Cheney's the evil one :P
-
........ you insulted darth cheneyRUUUUUNNNNNhttp://youtube.com/watch?v=i5OCoxNjlhQ
-
first off I agree with alot of what you said till now.bush was not elected, he was placed into power by a stacked court. stole the fucking election, he was not elected.with that in mind, carry on
-
People always think I'm crazy when I mention the Stacked court :P
-
I don't think you guys are crazy.I just wonder how much it has to hurt your noses to be led around like numbskull piggies.
-
Oooooh Cooold cold.I don't even like American politics. They suck compared to Israeli politics, at least there you've got the "Will we be blown up today?!" factor. :P
-
I think maybe we would all take it a bit more seriously if we lived under those conditions, no? It would be less of a kidergarten playground fight and something we were all a bit more vested in.
-
Considering I work for the government of Israel, my family is there, and I lived there for what, a year to 8 months? I take it quite seriously. >.<
