I had 3 goals for this year.1. Lose Weight - Done2. Get Good Grades - Meh, Good Nuff3. Increase UPPER Body Strength - Well...Its shameful...we were doing chin ups and i couldn't do 3 without a struggle, then a girl [not being sexist...but male pride ya know] did 10 with ease. So I've realised i need to increase upper body strength, NOT LOWER!! I already kick like a juggernaut xD. But yea, any ideas? Please...PLEASE...dont say chin ups

Well what about doing sets up pushups everyday? You can do 2 reps of 10 pushups in the morning(it also helps you wake up), and in the afternoon when you get home from school do as much pushups as you can. Try setting yourself a goal like doing 30 pushups one day then 40 etc. Also eat a lot of protein to help build muscle.

wat he said....and guess what. do pullups. 2 reps. of as many as u can and u'll be suprised how strong they can get you. or you could just go to a gym and ask someone real quick what you can do.

Dude, get into the weight room.... how old are you?

Pushups are nice, but they won't do much for your chin ups (well, military push ups with hands in a position further down your torso rather than by the shoulders will slightly work one of the major groups that contracts in chin ups, the latissimus dorsi). Also, eating lots of protein won't do jack all if you're not exercising to the point where you actually need that protein for regeneration and development of muscle tissue. Try for about 1.0-1.5 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight.
Sorry to pick those points apart, it just bugs me seeing advice like that given out. On the goal thing, that's definitely key. Aim for doing a certain number, and when you attain that, set a higher goal. That's an awesome way to challenge yourself to "beat your own personal bests" and that's what really matters, above beating others whose genetic make up and backgrounds are likely completely different than yourself.

holy shit the girl can do 10 chinups... that's impressive.
