Okay, so this problem has been picking at me for a while but I never thought of putting it up here until recently, about two days ago. I've tried to do it earlier, but I've just been cornered with textbooks and looseleaf.Anyways, at the end of my two front teeth are these trios of semicricles actually made by the teeth. They're not discoloration or anything of the like that's -on- my teeth, but it's -made- by them. The semicircles are part of the teeth themselves. They face downward and just don't seem... right. I'm not sure if I'm making this clear, but I'll try and draw it I suppose... _______(((________That's close to what it looks like. Just look at it sideways as though it were a smiley - the end with the paranthases is the actual end of the tooth that is not connected to the gums.

Strange upside-down semicircles on teeth?

when new teeth come out they are usually shaped like that except they wear down and become flatter. How old are you?
-
I used to have that when I was younger. They wore down as I got older and now you can't even see it.
-
ALl teeth grow in with ridges on them. I'm 34 and I can still see the saw like edge on my teeth if I look close enough.

It should eventually wear down as you get older. I guess it also depends on the types of food you eat. If you eat soft foods, then wear is slower.

Oh, I guess that makes sense. Thanks, sdp
