Well that's good to hear I personally would wait a few months before changing the jewelry part of it. I've give it a lot more time to heal. But that's just me

ok, sorry i was late, my dick started bleeding and falling off so my mommy had to sew it back on....and for the truth, i may have been a little over zealous wednesday because it was a little sore after (the piercing not the penis) but after i was more gentle there wasnt a single problem during or after. and the REAL reason i was late was getting a hold of the piercer, first time i forgot completely. second time i forgot shes not there at 8 usually, but i got a hold of her today and she said the piercing i got, i can pretty much only use a straight solid steel barbell. (other materials are too porous and harbor bacteria) i think the reason why i can only use a straight barbell is because the piercing is farther down then the tippy top. so the length between holes is longer.i think what ill do is call her back after the 6-8 weeks and ask about maybe a bigger gauge.
-
if that were me id wait at least 3-4 months to change the jewelry. if its not fully healed you can damage tissue.
-
no its fine the way it is. and when she was examining me, remember she told me the size of my glans prohibited me from getting a piercing at the top for the first one? well i forgot that she told me that where she was going to put it, it wouldnt be possible to wear a ring in that piercing. and i OK'D it, i just forgot that i had lol
"If that was a ring, it should have never been pierced suitable for a bar only."
im sorry but huh?
-
i was hoping thered be something more interesting then just a straight barebell. maybe some color, or some interesting ends or a curved barbellwell the piercing is more on the shaft then the actual frenulum, although its still considered a frenum piercing. i think, considering the placement, she did it with the holes so far apart because while the skin there is stretchy, its not as loose as the frenulum and mightve worried about migration?now like i said before, im not entirely sure why she said it wouldnt be advisable to get the first piercing right on the frenulum, but she did say i could get a second piercing there and im sure i could wear a ring with that considering thats not as affected when i get an erection as the area thats already pierced is
-
Quote:maybe she was a bit afraid of it migrating because she wasnt sure if your body would accept a piercing in general. kinda..so she wanted to be safe and put it down lower. but maybe if that one heals well then it would be a sign to pierce it again. thats what i get from it. ashley had that to say and she knows a bit more about piercing then i do (by bit i mean alot) and it does make sense
-
she said its too likely to cause migration with a ring from the start, but i think it had something to do with my penis specifically as to why she had to place the holes so far apart, thus only allowing a bar
-
she said i could take it out, but its unclear how long i can have it out for, she said theres people whove done it where the hole closed or shrunk in a matter of hours, day and i think even months
-
honestly, if that was me, id be pissed that my piercer limited my piercing to only a straight barbell.
Daniel, all i can say is wait for it to heal a couple months, and then expermient with it. my friend has his eyebrow pierced, and he has a small curved barbell in it. its fine. however whenever he changes it to a horseshoe one, it gets sore. its not the same area, but it may be the same problem you have with your piercing. i think where there is a lot of movement, bacteria gets into the piercing and irritates it. but then again, everyone is different.
the thing is, piercings dont have to be permenant. =) ive had my nose pierced SIX times now. but thats cuz the person who did it was a dumbass and actually didnt know anyhting about what she was doing. so, if you cant change the piercing to what you want, take it out and re do it =) its not cheap, but its worth it if your satisfied.
a lot of piercers put rings in first to let them heal, however like i said, it can cause bacteria to get into your piercing. if that was me, i would have asked for a curved barbell instead of a straight one. that way you can wear both rings AND barbells. not the straight ones tho. but meh.
oh!! something else to add. if your piercing EVER gets infected. DO NOT take it out. it causes the infection to spread and thats reallllly not a good thing. especially on your man toy.
-
I had both my nipples pierced (done at seperate times) and my piercer recommended rings or horseshoes at first because they are more likely not to get infected. The barbell kinda traps the 'goop' that leaks out in the beginning thus causing an infection. Whereas the ring lets the 'goop' slide down and you can clean it thoroughly until it is totally healed. Of course, that was my experience with piercing so take from it what you wish. He also said not to change the jewelry until it is completely healed. My nipples did not totally heal for a good six months. The problem with changing it too soon is, since the inside of the holes are like open wounds, you could transfer bacteria in there and then you have a big problem. I don't know what they are called, but I do know they have a style of jewelry that is kind of like a barbell, but then it curves into a ring. Like the barbell is totally covered by your skin and then the part that is showing looks like a ring. Did that make sense? Perhaps you could use that. Also, just my opinion, use jewelry made out of surgical steal. The other jewelry is crap in my opinion. It tarnishes and is kind of flimsy. And by the way, I had my nipples pierced for about six years. I had to take them out when I had my son and they closed within two days. The holes were still kind of open, but the insides were completely closed.

do you think you'd be able to find such an item or?and come on get those babies redone! a good female nipple piercing is a terrible thing to waste
-
This is what I am talking about: http://www.steelnavel.com/category.asp?type=SI&ID=56&MID=319I'm not sure if this type of ring is suitable for your piercing, but I am sure you can ask your piercer or someone else with a little more knowledge. I've thought about getting them redone, but actually the manthing likes them better withought the piercing. He said my rings used to bang into his teeth.
-
sweet thats exactly what i was thinking of, except thats the only one they have and i need a 10 guage with the straight part being 7/8 of an inch long, do you know of anymore piercing jewelery sites?lol and he complained? pfffft......
-
well i looked on tribalectic and they have a custom ordering bit, and also on a site called http://www.painfulpleasures.com they have a frenum loop custom made to your size although (A) not in stock and (B) itll be over 100$ lol
-
I had a PA done about 6 years ago. The master gave me a ring right away. I think a bar bell would tend to get caught on and rip....
-
yeah i though about a PA but then read about all the horrible things that can happen to it and eeeeesh. and thanks for the link fix i forgot to take care of that

Sorry guys, I have never personally used that site or any other site for buying jewelry. I had always gone to the place that pierced me. They had a great selection and I trusted them very much. In fact the owner is a registered nurse. :eyes: I don't think you can get any safer and 'cleaner' than that.
Sorry Rad, I can't remember gauge sizes. I think my tongue is a 14 and my nipples were 12. And I think it goes the lower the number the bigger the size (gauge). So people that stretch thier ears and stuff can work up to like 2's or something depending on how stretchy they want them. So I guess a regular ear hole would be like a 16? 18? I don't know.
-
My navel is a 14 gauge and my nipple was pierced with a 12 Gauge. I have my nipple I think at an 18 gauge now, wasn't fond of the huge barbell.
-
Yes, but my piercer said I have great anatomy for nipple piercing. Really, I think the bigger gauge is better in a...ummm...bigger nipple. I wonder what the deciding factor is when they choose how big to go with the gauge?? Do you think 12 is standard for all nipples?
