I was just wondering when do you feel you stop being a teenager and become an adult. By law once you hit 18 you are legally looked on as an adult but the first age without teen at the end of it is 20. Personally i feel adulthood is when you hit a level of maturity where you can think for yourself and be responsibile for yourself. The decisions you make are more for the long run than the present. Right now i feel like i am still a teenager living it up while I can, but if i was forced I could make the transition with little effort. So what does everyone else think?

When is it over?

I'm 22 and I don't feel like an adult yet. I think though that when you're in your 20's you're struggling in between a child and adult. I know I'm "grown up" but I don't feel like it yet in a lot of ways.

All the girls I talk to say I'm the most mature guy they know.. My other friends say I'm really mature too.. So I guess I'm mature? Instead of talking about the movies that they saw last weekend.. I talk about things i need do before i can get into my career.. ( law enforcement ) But trust me.. There are moments when I want to break out and act like a total teenager and do stupid stuff.. But I don't... Maybe I need to have a little more fun? My friends ask me why I never go anywhere.. That I should get out and party more.. See people.. Goto the movies.. I tell them I'd rather spend my cash on other stuff ( But they always ask me how do i get the all the stuff i want.. My cell phone..wallet.. hat..sunglasses..they ask me if mommy and daddy did it.. NOOO.. I wish )

19 and i don't think i can grow up. too many people need ass beatings and too many women need emotional abuse for me to grow up. atleast right now.

I'm 22, and I consider myself an adult. I feel like I have grown up a lot faster than my friends because I had my daughter when I was 20. My girlfriends are still getting drunk and going to bars tryin to pick up guys, and I am at home, trying to keep it neat and tidy for my daughter. I think that different situations make you grow up faster, and even though I don't regret anything, I would suggest that everyone enjoy their teenage years as much as they can, because although "alduthood" comes with freedom, it also comes with a ton of responsability.

I've always been told that I "act" older than my years. Probably because people think I'm sooooo laid back but at the same time have an air of confidence. For me I felt like I became an "adult" when I started working and taking on more responsibility within the work place. I do still like to let my hair down (lol) and act a kid. I suppose that's why kids in the diving club are like "cool!!! Paul's here... lets beat the shit out of him!!!" LMAO I do still find it easy to get down to there level of thinking LMAO
