If you really expect me to believe Obama has done this out of concern for those you speak of (and not his own political agenda), I'll be the one who's surprised...right before I laugh. Yes Thor, you are always masterful at implying all sorts of things.3 points: 1. How would it a bad thing for a politician to "make it clear what he truly believes in?"You are way out of sync with the vast majority of the American public if you disapprove of that idea. A general sense of disgust with years on end of presidential dishonesty probably has a hell of a lot to do with why Obama was elected in the first place. In other words, how would it be a bad thing to find out the person just elected president keeps a hidden agend and doesn't tell the truth about his own, personal beliefs? Pretty dissapointing...and if you're one of those who howled when the press tried to make it look like Bush lied, then you should be howling twice as loud now.*...listening...listening...*Sorry, I don't hear the howling. Seems like there could be a double-standard around here. (Ya think?)...and don't think I didn't notice the serious spin you put on it for what it is. "How would it be a bad thing [that the president has been revealed to be a liar to the public]?" Oh, brother.

What I'm surprised at is the inference that argument made by a lawyer for a client is the lawyer's personal opinion. Lawyers describe themselves as 'cabs for hire' - though I sometimes think the term 'intellectual prostitutes' is more appropriate - and they argue the client's case, not their own.

"How would it be a bad thing [that the president has been revealed to be a liar to the public?" Oh, brother. Well Thor, the problem with all this is that you provide no clue as to what you're talking about. 1. What hidden agenda are you referring to? regarding what? 2. What personal beliefs has Obama lied about? And how do these alleged beliefs relate to public policy? 3. How has the president been revealed to the public as a liar? What lie am I supposed to be howling about?Could you try to be a little bit factual?
