Okay, lets load up and head to Vegas... and remember what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

American Idol Season 8
-
Woo hoo!! Sounds like a plan to me!!
-
Lil Rounds: Yeah, another boring one. But I'm not so sure her barking back at Simon might not get her some votes. I say stick a fork in her. She's done.Danny Gokey: Passion. 'Nuff said. He's safe for sure.Kris Allen: I love "Falling Slowly". Love the entire soundtrack and the movie Once itself. But I was underwhelmed with Kris last night. I was stoked he chose the song, but it was a meh arrangement. Not the kind of thing that's gonna wow folks who don't know the song.Allison Iraheta: Disappointed, although she's becoming my favorite. And for the record, Eddie, "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" is the epitome of "rockish" elevator music!Anoop Desai: Man, he was amazing last night. I thought he was the best of the bunch. I believe that, technically, he has the best voice of anyone this season. Last night he figured out how to make it really work. And the thing is, it wasn't just singing like he usually does. Last night he actually pulled off a performance. I believed him.Adam Lambert: I actually liked this week better than last week. Of course, I hated that last week he was depending on no one knowing that arrangement of the song, so he came off like mondo-cheatbutt-poser to me. But I thought he was pretty good last night. And I'm beginning to disagree with folks who say he won't be able to do anything but show tunes. He's got a classic rock/metal voice. But he annoys me nonetheless. Fake humility is not my thang.Matt Giraud: This boy needs to figure it out or go home. I vote for the former. I like him but he's so hit and miss.Bottom Three: I'll help you out here Eddie. Matt, Lil, and Kris. I almost guarandingdangtee it. Going Home: I'll guess Lil...again.P.S. I don't like the new critique format. And I really don't like that they blame it on the girls. They have always had trouble staying under their time limit. How could they not think adding another verbose judge would add to the problem? There were a couple of times when I felt like a performer didn't get a dissenting opinion that everyone needed to hear.P.S.S. I wanna go to Vegas with Eddie and Scotty. But I'm keeping my britches on!

Party pooper.Okay so it's a plan. Road trip to Vegas to see the Divine Ms. M.

Quote:I'll tell you once again, he's going to win this season. He could very well win this season.... but I'm just not convinced he deserves to win this season. Now as for the results last night, again I was 2 for 3 and even got the person going home right! WOO HOO! LoL... BUT they finally used the save last night, which I admit I was pretty shocked! With two people going home next week it will be very interesting. Unless Lil and Matt REALLY step up their game, I'm going to guess they're still going to be in trouble. But it is disco week next week and that has, in the past, proven to be disastrous for some contestants.

"But it is disco week next week and that has, in the past, proven to be disastrous for some contestants."It proved to be disastrous for the country as well. Some things need to rest in peace.
-
with a stake driven through the heart first.
-
Yeah, I think it'll be the same bottom three. I can't see Anoop tearin' it up on disco week! I was surprised they used the save on Matt. I thought the point of the save was to save someone who had a good chance to win. Guess I was wrong.Rad, I hope you're wrong. I've kinda come to appreciate Adam, but I really don't want him to win. I'm hoping for Allison or Kris (one of whom actually has a decent shot).

I agree, but they were also running out of time to use it. They had this week and next week to use it or they lose. I personally wish they would have waited to use it until next week.. I mean seriously what if something seriously tragic happens like Allison, Kris, or Adam some how make it in the bottom and now they don't have a save left. I think it was pretty foolish to waste it on Matt.

I'm only going to Vegas with you two if I don't have to here Idol talk the entire trip.
-
Can I come too?I can be the fat guy entertainment.

I agree....I saw her in concert in San Francisco in 1974 and I still believe that it was the best concert I have ever seen to date..Go.... Go..... Go.....It might cost a lot, but you will not return the same person as you were before you went...

Nope its only one save per season... not per contestant. If it was per contestant it could make for a VERY long season hehe So yeah if anything goes overly crazy this week and one of the good singers gets stuck in the bottom they are screwed
-
Sorry I have been sick all week.. nasty laryngitis But I will say I am happy to see Lil finally go home.. it's been a long time coming. I was also expecting Matt to go home over Anoop, but it was eventually coming for Anoop anyways. But as for my girl (Allison) being in the bottom three... I just don't get it. Hopefully she starts winning over America.
-
I was happy to see Lil go as well. I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but I'm kind of happy Anoop was the other one. As far as Allison, I think the fact that Lil is gone might be good for her. She'll get 100% of the female vote. (I don't mean 100% of the females who vote, I mean all of those who want to vote for a girl.) Heck, she'll get all of the ethnic vote now as well!By the way, Kris was amazing...again.
-
So tonight's Brat Pack night. I love the theme, but I can't see any of them doing really well with it, except maybe Kris. We'll see. I would love to hear Kris do "It Was a Very Good Year" or "Look at Me Now".Man...so many good songs to choose from...and I'm just thinking of Sinatra.
-
We gots to work on your redneck shit. That is not a camper, its a trailer, and no self respecting redneck would use it unless they wus on a motor cycle to pull it! Im not a redneck! snob camper a standard camper and lastly you have the redneck snobs and the trailer homes they prefer.and a pull behind camp trailer
-
Well that's as redneck as I am willing to go. Small portable fits in tight places... just like my wife, built for easy mobility. Would it be more redneck acceptable if I kept an AR in it?
-
Thats as far as you go then I am afear that you are wasting the tow and haul capacity of your new truck. and scotty, that little tear drop trailer may be streamlined and updated but its still based on redneck shit.I for one do not think that a truck or trailer or camper auto make you a redneck.Fuck I had a trailer, 19 feet, put it many places I was told it couldnt fit, its all about your ability to judge distance and back up a trailer, and since I did drive truck for a bit, I can assure you a double axle big trailer is way easier to back than a single axle of any size.Plus with a slide out or two you can be camping like living at home.I got my motor home for sale, all it really is is a big ass trailer, my 5 year old calls it the driving trailer.fuck motor homes I been thinking about buying a tent trailer, flat, small, easy to tow, no need to tow a separate car behind it...I will return to a motorhome when I retire and have no house to live in and just fuck off all the time, but till then, a camp trailer or just my tent is all I need, and since my dad sold our 30 foot camp trailer when I was 12 (he has a real talent for backing, Iv seen that trailer fit between trees that you would swear were narrower than the trailer, and towed up roads that some people are afraid to walk up, always in reverse to keep the truck on the downhill side instead of dragging us back if shit happened and the trailer brakes went out)I have till I bought the 19 footer then lost it in a divorce 2 years later, alwyas used a tent, fond of springbar 4 season tents, light, tough, never had a leak on me in teh rain or snow. I am however working on (still been 3 years no reason to not work on it as i get closer to right) a backpack hammok tent for 4 seasons, single person...THey make some but Iv tried them and never been satisfied with the results, got a new design now that should be better than the last and my last 3 have been better than you can buy.Fuck, I forgot where I was going with this, anyways, you can own that shit with out being a redneck, and even jsut traveling across country, you atleast do nto have to get a motel, you can pull up any canyon or desert or field and have all ya need.
