Topic title. I'm still a virgin, but me and my girlfriend are getting into activities like eating out and blowjob. So I'm wondering if I have to worry about STD's if we're both virgins?

Do I have to worry about STD's if I'm a virgin?

STI's/STD's are transmittable through oral sex. If you and your girlfriend are virgins completely, then I'd say it's extremely unlikely. If you and/or your girlfriend had oral sex with someone else who had an STD, then there's the chance it was transmitted that way.I'd say you're probably fine though. I'm not sure how old you are, but once you become sexually active it's always an alright idea to go and get yourself checked out every once in a while at a health centre.

Thank you for your help. To clear up some information we are both 17 and completely virgins. Are these health centre's free?

I think it depends on where you live. I live in Ontario, Canada, and here there's a local healthcentre where I and my (ex)girlfriend used to go to get checked out, completely free to us. She actually used to get free birth control pills there, though she had a prescription from her doctor sent to the centre.

You know, that's a really good question. We have a couple around where I live, but they provide for pregnant teenagers.Look in your phone book, ask your school for resources, like your health teacher probably knows, or do a google search for, something like "free teen clinics in [your area]". From what I do know, they are, they're publicly, or donationally, funded. Just takes the matter of finding them.
