Seriously, so I know this is a little anorexic sounding but I've gone around a week eating or two under 1000 calories and even 2 days without food just to see what happens.Turns out I didn't lose a single pound. according to what I lead due to me being 180 pounds, I should burn 1800 daily just sleeping and not moving and a certain percentage based on my exercise and daily life style.I should be burning 2500-3000 calories daily so whether it was far or muscle I should have burned no less than 7000 calories and yes I counted every calorie I ate. so I should have lost 2 pounds but I've lost nothing.Granted I don't want to lose muscle itself, but at this point I'm focusing on burning off as much fat as possible, yes I know not eating much is stupid but it was just an experiment. Turns out apparently I don't burn any calories or something. So in all seriousness am I a plant or something using photosynthesis to gain energy causing me to not actually burn any calories at all o.OAt my lack of food I've lost nothing, strength energy fat muscle. SOMETHING should have changed even in just 1-2 weeks.

Well not eating is not going to get you to lose weight. When you don't eat you basically put your metabolism on hold... low metabolism = low calorie burn.What you want to do is eat smaller meal throughout the day instead of like three large meals. This will keep your metabolism high and your body consuming more calories thus burning more fat.On a side note, I’m not sure what your work regiment might be… but make sure you add enough cardio into your routine. Plants are autotrophic - make their own food, while humans are heterotrophic and have to take in food.Chloroplasts are also green. Just clearing up the plant question.

You would have been burning calories, but a difference of two pounds is within normal fluctuations, for example due to differences in hydration. So you may well have lost two pounds but happened to have two pounds more water in you when you weighed yourself.A very drastic diet like that isn't good for your muscles. Burning fat is a slow process so to keep the muscles good you want to eat a reasonable amount of protein and aim to take weight off slowly.
